Tadeo touched down at the base of the tower, looking up at it. It was tall, very tall. In fact, it barely could be called a tower, in Tadeo's opinion. It was just a giant, skinny pole with some platform at the top. After examining it for a while, the Saiyan also realized that his platform had to be defying a few laws of physics, maybe even gravity. There has to be almost no way that a pole that skinny, even if it is that long, can withstand the platform without some kind of extra help from something. Fortunately for Tadeo, he didn't need to think about it. He examined the picture he had in his hand, then looked back up at the lookout. Throwing the picture away, Tadeo took the the skies.
Flying straight up to the lookout, Tadeo didn't bother to hide his power level. He wasn't a threat to Earth, or at least he didn't think so. Besides, Shadic knew him, too. The only way it would be unpleasant for Shadic to see him is if it was bad timing. The Saiyan didn't think about it much. He kept flying upwards, looking at the lookout get closer and closer and closer. Once he reached the top, he started looking around for his old friend. Ya know, if I could actually get a read on Shadic's power this would be so much easier. But, hey, I'm not complaining that much. It could be worse, really.
"I swear, I'm gonna eat your entire race." - Tadeo
"Tycho is no longer Tycho. Tycho is now little girl. Yes!" - Majin Tycho
"Stupid scouter, coming off my face like that! Where the fuck is it!? There it fucking is! Hah!" - Sarai
Azuki paced back and forth on the edge of the lookout, waiting for Pico and Presta to arrive. The three were going to go on a mission that involved their latest success, a conclusion to the drug bust, but the teenage hero was late as always. And, with Azuki being Azuki, the Saiyan warrior grew more and more impatient as time passed.
When Tadeo arrived at the base of the tower, she looked over the edge. Had they finally arrived? With anticipation, Azuki waited for the power to reveal itself, though as it neared, she knew it was neither Pico nor Presta. In fact, she remembered that she could not even sense Pico because he had trained his ki to blend in among the humans at his school.
At her first sight of the green haired Saiyan, Azuki gave a scoff. It was not intentional, but her impatience sometimes made her agitated, "You probably want Lightning Rod, yeah? I'll go get him," She stormed off to the temple at the center of the concrete structure as her tail swung around wildly behind her.
Shadic meditated on the doorstep of the temple when his friend arrived, "Oh Shaddy, your friend Tadeo has arrived," Azuki said jokingly.
The hybrid sighed, "You know how much I hate when you call me that,"
She giggled, "Yeah, Shaddy, I do. But Pico's late, as usual, so,"
"So you're frustrated and taking it out on everybody else. Yeah, I know how you work. I hope you weren't rude to our guest," Shadic said as he got to his feet. He wore his typical blue and orange gi under a big white robe.
"Of course not! Not intentionally, at least. I might've accidentally scoffed at him when he first showed up but that's because I was expecting the teens rather than a green haired, lighter skinned version of you, you know what I mean?" She asked rhetorically, looking back at the other Saiyan on the lookout. Her tail flicked as she looked back for her friend's response.
"Uh huh. Well, thank you for that," Shadic said genuinely-ish, "Okay, um," He started walking backwards, towards Tadeo, but still so he was facing Azuki, "I'm gonna go, uh, tend to him now. Tell P and Presta I said hi, good luck on your guys' mission. They'll be here in a few more minutes, probably. See ya later," Shadic spun around so he was facing Tadeo and he walked towards his friend.
He spread his arms out wide to welcome the green haired Saiyan to his new abode, "Tadeo," Shadic said cheerfully, "Welcome to the new crib. It's kind of lit up here, somehow I manage to pull better download/upload speeds at the top of the world than I do in a multi-million dollar tower, who knew?" He let his arms drop to his hips, where he held them as he asked, "So, what brings you to this neck of the woods? News, work, a fight, all of the above, I'm open to whatever. It's actually really boring up here, in case you couldn't tell, especially because I'm interim Kami right now and not real Kami so it's like having a job but without literally any perks other than saying you have the job. I know you can't relate to that, since you've probably never had a real job; neither have I, but I imagine this is what it's like plus a salary," Shadic gave him one of his million dollar smiles after his rant to signify he was going to shut up and let the other Saiyan talk now.

Tadeo was surprised that Shadic wasn't the first person he was going to see. In fact, it was Azuki. She seemed a bit grumpy, and Tadeo didn't know what it was exactly that ticked her off. However, he did rule out the fact that seeing his face might be the reason why she's grumpy. He didn't do anything to her and hadn't seen her in a while. Besides, who could hate Tadeo? He's the second most likable guy in the universe, next to Shadic. And maybe Nexon. But Nexon did kill a lot of people as Godkiller, so maybe not Nexon. But, then again, that wasn't really Nexon killing all those people, so maybe Nexon. Tadeo touched down on the Lookout. As Azuki walked away, Tadeo took out a bluetooth and connected with Christel.
"You sure this is worth the trouble? Taking a break from Tuksen might be a good idea." Tadeo tapped his bluetooth and sighed. "I'm not gonna let this chance pass up. This database even has records of the Majin Grey attack from about four years ago, and there weren't any eyewitnesses except for those who were fighting, despite the battle being so huge. If it has a chance of revealing Tuksen and a few of his secrets, or maybe any recent incidents concerning him, I'm gonna check it out." "And what's Shadic supposed to gain from it?" "He's the Kami-in-Training here. There's no way he's not gonna gain anything from this. He'll needa know everything he can to protect this planet." "You know this information isn't 100%, right? And getting down there is gonna be even harder than it sounds." On the other end, Galileo and Dymond could be heard playing. Dymond threw a toy truck at a wall, and made a hole in it. Christel scolded her daughter for doing this. "YOU LITTLE SHIT, HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU NOT TO THROW THINGS?? YOU BREAK SHIT EASILY!! IF THIS HAPPENS ONE MORE TIME, I'LL THROW YOU AT THE WALL!!" Galileo was heard right afterwards. "Oooooo, you're in troubleeeeeee." Christel sighed on the other end. "I should've at least sabotaged you while you were in base form." "I doubt that'll make a difference with this outcome. Going back to what you said before, it's worth a shot. Even if I do have to fake my identity, and go about 500 miles below the Earth's surface." "You're selling it a bit short." "Whatever. I'll call you back once I'm finished with whatever we're doing down there. Be careful with the kids." "No, YOU be careful with not imploding. Just don't die down there." "I'll see you later."
Ending the call, Tadeo turned around to see Shadic calling his name and coming towards him. Tadeo walked a bit towards Shadic, looking at the new place he has. He doesn't remember ever coming to the place he had before, if he even had one. Now, they're even. Tadeo knows what Shadic's house looks like, and vice versa. It was very roomy, so to say. Probably better than the old BoB tower. Shadic continued to ramble on, even going so far as to kind of describe his position. Tadeo raised an eyebrow after Shadic's last comment. "You do know that I got hired by Capsule Corp, like three years ago, right?" Tadeo paused for a bit, confused, and still raising an eyebrow. He chuckled a bit and shook his hands. "Actually, never mind. Me having a job now isn't all that important. I needa talk to you about something. Something a lot more important than me having a job. And as Interim-Kami, I'm sure you'd find this information worth investigating." Tadeo pulled out a satchel from inside his Gi, containing documents and the like of Tadeo's plan and investigation so far. The brown bag hung from his fist for a bit, until he put it over his neck. Looking back to Shadic, Tadeo raised the question. "Spare a moment of your time? I guarantee it's worth looking at."
Oh yeah, Tadeo did work for Capsule Corp, "You did get a job with Capsule Corp, didn't you? We went and delivered that stuff to Namek in that ship of theirs, I remember now," That trip was interesting to say the least, but not a lot came of it. Tadeo had a brown satchel bag thing around his neck, and when Shadic asked his purpose for stopping by, Tadeo reached in and grabbed something. Go figure. The something he grabbed were some documents, apparently of significant information about something or other. The hybrid took the documents and flipped through them, interested to see what secrets they held, "Trust me, I got all day," He rubbed his hands together, "Let's take a look,"
Shadic took the documents and read through the information presented to him, "What exactly am I looking at here?" He asked with the hope that Tadeo had more information that what was printed off in the documents.

Tadeo pulled out a few documents from the satchel, other then the ones Shadic had. Those were mostly detailed information about what Tadeo investigated. "First off, take a look at these." The documents had a few things that would pop out on it. One document mentioned a facility located deep within the Earth's crust. It also mentioned some kind of database. Another document told of the location of the facility, in a university in West City. Another contained different screenshots of different people at random moments. One of them included Tadeo's fight against Alexis, another was Reku against Shadic during the Demon War, and another was a meeting between a masked assassin and a government worker. There were still more screenshots there that would prove both interesting and confusing. Tadeo began his explanation again. "I found something on the internet about a database with a lotta info on it, info that shouldn't be known by the public. After Christel and I did some digging around, we found all this. First, there seems to be speculation of an underground facility in a West City university. And by underground, I mean DEEP, underground. Try around 500 miles deep. Maybe even more."
Tadeo let Shadic have those documents, then got back to explaining. "I wanted to see if there's anything worth inspecting from the database. After trying to hack into it as best as we could, we couldn't really find much and we only got to pull out certain things. However, we did find some weird snapshots, like the ones on that doc. Whoever it is, they shouldn't be getting pics of me fighting Alexis, and I doubt they should be getting much from the war. It all seemed too weird. So, then I decided to dive a little deeper. You wouldn't believe what I found." Tadeo then pulled out one final document from the satchel. Showing it to Shadic, he offered to hand it to him so he could read it, directly. "Anything here seem familiar?" The document had some information about Majin Gray, and the battle against him. It was really vague for Tadeo, since he ended up getting knocked out close to the beginning. He, himself, was surprised to make it out alive. In addition to having a little detail about the fight with Gray, it had one single screenshot of the Majin. It was a little distorted, but it was clear that Majin Gray was right there in the middle of the photo, and a few fighters were circling around him.
Tadeo crossed his arms. "There was no way anyone could've gotten that fight. We were secluded, and despite the fight being so huge, there were no eyewitnesses except for everyone who was there at the battle. And I couldn't have said anything about it. I barely remember anything after getting knocked out. After thinking about it, I figured it'd be a good idea to investigate. If this place has information about the fight against Gray, then it could have info on many other things, too. The possibilities are limitless. Interplanetary warfare. Godkiller. A powerful Android named Tuksen. Really, you name it, and it might have it." Tadeo paused for a bit, throwing the satchel off his back. He had no more use for it anymore. "I think it's worth a shot."
Shadic read through the information presented to him as Tadeo explained. There was a lot to take in, "Woah, so we got ourselves a little stalker, do we? That's interesting, though not entirely surprising," He flipped to the next document and read through it, "You said you and Christel tried to do some digging? Do you mind letting me take these documents? I know someone who can probably help us get more information in a week or something, she's probably the smartest person I've ever met,"
He continued to read through as his mind went to work, confused at all this. Shadic did not know who this Alexis person was, but since he'd never heard of it from his own friend, it must have been a lowkey fight. Then, during the Demon War, Shadic's fight against Reku was in the middle of the Diablo Desert. Aside from the soldiers, there was nobody else around. That didn't make a lot of sense, either. Then there was the assassin and the government agent, neither of which Shadic could identify. Still, they had to be relevant to all this somehow.
The last document wasn't any more reassuring. Grainy pictures from the Gray battle? All the civilians were evacuated almost immediately, and the closest any were was no more than 12 city blocks. That was a strange day as it was, so for their secret admirer to be there, too, was beyond insane, "Yeah, we definitely need to investigate that facility. As much as I love a big fan here and there, this is a little too creepy for my liking. And you bring up a good point, what else could this guy know?"
Shadic cleared his throat, "If it's alright with you, after our little investigation today, I can get this information to my smart friend and hopefully she can connect any other dots we need connected," The hybrid walked over and picked up the satchel and stuffed the documents back inside, then he set it down and hopped into the air, ready to depart, "Lead the way to the university. If this person really is keeping tabs on us at all times, though, then they'll be waiting for us."

Tadeo shrugged his shoulders in response to Shadic. Smirking, he put his hands in his pockets. "Fine by me. If you could find something from that, it'd be great for the both of us. I'd definitely need any more info I can get." Tadeo let Shadic pick up the satchel and keep it with him. All in all, he had no more need for it, so he didn't mind. As Shadic seemed to be on board, Tadeo got excited. He was glad he agreed to go along with this plan. However, there was one more thing Tadeo needed to explain to him. "Yeah, before we go, I needa explain one more thing to you." Tadeo floated up to Shadic to be on level ground. "All I know is that the entrance or whatever to this facility is somewhere in the university. I'm not sure where it could be, so we needa infiltrate the school. The only surefire way to do that is to go in as...students."
Tadeo opened up a Gate behind him. Afterwards, he looked back to Shadic, hands out of his pockets. "They still have late enrollment for some reason, and we can sign up and start attending classes literally right now. We'll have to come up with aliases and go through the whole process without anyone finding out. I'm sure it'd be relatively easy for us. No one knows our faces, so it should be easy. The hard part will be getting to the facility entrance and finding it." He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair. "Worst part about it is they have uniforms. I won't be able to wear my damn Gi there." Shaking his head again, he looked back to Shadic. "So, you still down for this?" If Shadic agreed, Tadeo would float through the Gate, waiting for Shadic on the other side, right outside the university.
Tadeo explained that the only way to get into the school was as students. Seemed simple enough, Shadic had managed to infiltrate an investor banquet just a few days ago. Then again, in that case, he had help from hacker Big Shot and insanely smart Presta, so he didn't exactly have to do much but show up and look pretty. Here, Tadeo and he were going to have to do everything themselves.
And, for whatever reason, the students had to wear uniforms, "What kind of university forces their students to wear uniforms? I guess it's for money purposes, which is kind of ridiculous, if you ask me. Have fun dealing with that, by the way, if your offspring decide to take that route, I hear it's a complete pain," Shadic looked at the Gate and nodded, ready to commence with the plan, "But, even still, I'm in need of something to do. This'll be fun!"
Shadic forgot that Tadeo could just open up Gates and teleport places, which definitely helped. The only problem he saw with the plan was the registration process. It seemed like a lot of work just to get access to the school, but whatever worked was probably best. The hybrid drifted towards the portal, "Let's get started, then,"

Tadeo was pleased to see that Shadic was on board for this. He then dashed through the Gate, Shadic probably being right behind him. Once he got through, Tadeo closed it, and looked up at the large university. The main building was definitely the place where they'd find the underground lab. Examining the entrance a bit, Tadeo then turned his attention back to Shadic. "All we gotta do for now is get in there and fill out a little paperwork. It shouldn't be much. If you have to, just make up an address and whatnot. We'll probably be separated, but regardless of where we are, we needa find that entrance. It should be somewhere in this building." With that, Tadeo took a deep breath and walked in. He'd never been in a legit school before. He'd just been homeschooled his whole life, before the tragedy happened. He never had this kind of pleasure before.
The Saiyan walked through the doors, spotting the front desk. There was a sign up area there, and no line. Tadeo walked up to the attendant and greeted her. "Hi, I'm here for late registration." The old lady looked a bit scruffy. She grunted and pushed some documents towards him. After puffing her cigarette a bit, she gave him a pen and told him to sign the required information. Tadeo's eye twitched while looking at this lady. She was so unseemly it almost gave him AIDS. The one right next to her, however, was an actual student. She was probably an RA, and actually attractive looking. Of course, to Tadeo, it didn't matter. He had an engagement ri- OH FUCK!! THE RING!! Quickly, Tadeo took off the ring and put it in his pocket. Glancing at the woman to see if she noticed, or cared, Tadeo found she was too concentrated on a magazine. He filled out the paperwork, coming up with the name "Kyle McDouglas," and a completely bogus address and everything.
After finishing the paperwork, Tadeo was given a uniform to fit into. He went into the bathroom and changed, taking off his green and silver Gi. He felt bad about taking it off; they were the only clothes he had. Opening a Gate, he dropped his clothes into it, which reappeared in his hotel room. Tadeo received a schedule with a list of classes. His first was a science class, and it was a lecture hall. Sighing, Tadeo pulled out his bluetooth and connected it. He tried to reach Shadic with whatever device he had on him, if he even had one. If there was no answer, he'd just have to look for him.
Shadic examined the school and the campus. It seemed nice, though universities often did take care of their property with all their money and whatnot. He had visited enough college campuses in his time as a hero to know that this was pretty basic compared to others, though he had never actually been inside any of the buildings or anything. Tadeo lead the way into the registration office and started talking to the first secretary, so Shadic hit up the second one.
She was a lot nicer than Tadeo's old smoker lady. Who in their right mind would smoke indoors anyways? Shadic went through the registration process, which was a lot easier and quicker than he figured it would be. Tadeo got done first and went off somewhere, but Shadic was almost finished. He used some of the fake name from his investor banquet disguise, while the rest was even newer, "Chad Icht,"
The pseudonym worked like a charm, so Shadic received his ID and uniform. He scurried off somewhere and changed, which left him with nowhere to put his clothes. He decided to make a ki decoy deliver the clothes back to the lookout, which is exactly what he did. Suddenly, Tadeo spoke through Shadic's communication device. Big Shot had designed it for the mission crew to communicate, but somehow the green-hair Saiyan was connected and on the same channel.
