Starting From the Bottom (invite: hipo)

At the time Shadic came to Tadeo's hotel, he was in his room, and he just got out of the shower. Penny was working at the stand again, today. It was a busier day than normal. So when Shadic walked through those glass doors in his gi, Penny knew that this had to be one of Tadeo's friends. The man in the gi walked up to Penny with a smile on his face, asking for Tadeo, exactly like she thought. She giggled and reached for the phone.
"I knew you'd be one of Tadeo's friends. Your outfit and look says it all. I'll call him real quick for you."
Penny dialed Tadeo's room number into the phone.
"Shadic...Shadic...Shadic..."
The phone in Tadeo's room rang. Christel was also in the room, and she was much closer to the phone, so she answered it.
"Uh, hello?"
"Christel, is Tadeo around?"
"Uh, yeah, he's putting his gi on."
Tadeo was in the corner right next to the hallway, getting his gi pants on, looking at Christel in a confused manner. She answered back with a silent mouthing of "I don't know."
"All right. 'Cuz there's someone here to see him. His name's Shadic."
"Shadic?"
"Shadic?"
Immediately, Tadeo started putting on his clothes much quicker. Of course, neither Tadeo nor Christel were expecting Shadic this late in the day, but this didn't stop Tadeo from getting ready quicker.
"All right, well Tadeo heard 'Shadic' and now he went into maximum overdrive. By the way, why didn't you just call our phones? You have our numbers."
"I'm not allowed to use my phone during work hours."
"That's a load of bull, you're the boss here. You could do whatever you want here."
"That doesn't matter to me. Anyway, just send Tadeo down here."
With that, Penny and Christel hung up the phone. Christel turned around to a fully clothed Tadeo, standing right behind her, as if waiting for permission from his mother to leave. Slightly surprised, Christel put her hands on his shoulders and leaned him in closer.
"Look, I know you need to get out there if Shadic's practically at our doorstep, but you better come back in one piece and not dying. You hear me?"
"Yep, gotcha."
"Good, 'cuz I'd rather not hear that you were killed on me out there."
"Just don't miss me too much, okay?"
"Easier said than done."
Christel laughed. Tadeo opened the door, said his goodbyes to Christel, and sprinted down the corridor, to the stairs, down them, and into the main lobby. He saw Shadic at the stand, with his gi on. This made Tadeo slightly nervous as to what he wanted them to do. He stopped in front of Shadic, next to Penny in the stand.
"Thanks, Penny."
Tadeo's orange-haired receptionist/"maid" smiled to Tadeo and continued her computer work, which is what she was working on before Shadic got here.

After Tadeo heard Shadic's request, he thought it rather confusing. He didn't understand exactly what Shadic wanted, but he was also surprised to hear Big Shot's name again. He hadn't heard from him in a while, and he wondered if Shadic hadn't, either. Even through all this, Tadeo could tell that Shadic was excited for some reason, mainly by the way he greeted him.
"So, we finally get a job and it's stealing something from our old friend? All right, I'm down. What's the specifics?"
Tadeo had been off the field for a while, and he'd been itching to get to do something. Anything was fine, even this, which he wouldn't have turned down, anyway. Tadeo got himself into the working mindset and attitude. It was time to get serious.

Tadeo listened intently to Shadic's plan. He didn't seem to notice the pauses, nor did he mind them. After Shadic had mentioned Big Shot's name, Tadeo went into a bit of reminiscing of what little time he spent with the guy. He may not have known him as long as Shadic had, but they were still good friends at one point, and knowing he's somewhere out there, not keeping in contact with either of them, pained him to think about it. This was a depressing time for the Brotherhood, with Shadic and Tadeo all they had left.
"Still doesn't matter to me. As long as there's a slight chance Big Shot will come back out from hiding, and if it's for the Brotherhood, then I'm all for it. No questions about it."
Tadeo thought about that scouter he had laying around, which used to be active when the Brotherhood was active. He wanted that back again. He wanted the team, with Shadic, Big Shot, and maybe even Reku again. This was his second family. Outside Christel and Penny, the Brotherhood was the only family that stuck with him, and that he was able to stick with. It being torn apart like this is almost as painful as when his actual family died, many years ago.
"I'm not letting us leave empty handed. If this is really what we need to bring back the Brotherhood, or one of the things we need, then let's get to it. I'm not standing by to watch anymore."
Tadeo was reinvigorated with a new sense of determination. There was no way he would just let this all end.

Tadeo listened to Shadic's full plan as they walked out the door. He started getting excited hearing about this, even though he had no idea how to steal a jet, let alone how to pilot one. He didn't care. After all, this was for the sake of the Brotherhood.
"Okay. Infiltrate guarded factory, take out multiple guards, fly away with jet and take out tracking device. Doesn't sound hard at all."
Tadeo's sarcasm was expressed to show his excitement. He could hardly keep his Saiyan blood under control. He was itching for a good fight. Walking out the door, he immediately took to the skies, hovering above the ground and looking towards Shadic.
"All right, lead the way! Let's get this going!"
Tadeo would follow close behind Shadic, not wanting to miss a single beat of the action. He was determined to revive the Brotherhood, and get back into the game, as well. It's been far too long.
