Reku was mad, and that worked to Quemon's advantage as he started burrowing underground like he was flying. The two soldiers were pretty steadily hit, being a lot tougher than the attacks that were coming their way, but also not really terribly fast (Tl;dr, they have Quemon's stats, so END 50) and went flying into the wall, at the worst a tad bit winded.
And from the sidelines, using his tongue, he stuck it out of the ground, and occasionally popped up from the ground and started throwing rocks at Reku.
Of course, if Reku would have done even the barest amount of research, he would have heard about how the New King is kind of a fool, but there were rumors of the Tyrant that ushered in a short age of Saiyan Greatness has returned.Peregrinus keeps on charging his attack.
Karma watched as the king descended into the dirt like a coward. That was when a tongue started popping up randomly, throwing rocks around. It must be the king, that snake. Karma decided she must act, and stop this coward! She ran over to one of the holes created by Quemon's tongue, and began to breathe fire into it with all her might, attempting to flush him out to the surface. "Thou act-eth like a snake, thou shalt burn as one!" she stated. By the end of this, Karma would find herself quite drained.
Reku noticed that the guards were particularly tough, which annoyed him because now he had three people to worry about. As he was going to go finish the job, a rock hit him. He turned around, but there was nothing there. That was when another rock hit him, and then another. Reku looked around frantically until he saw the flash of something go underground. He looked over at the Majin, who was breathing fire into the hole. He was confused. Is she the one causing this? Wasn’t she trying to help m- Wait a minute. That was when he realized, based on what she said, that the person underground was the King. He was toying with him, not even bothering to take this seriously. With the theft and the cowardice already annoying him, this was what got him most of all. Not being taken seriously was his number one pet peeve, developed over time by spending so much time with Big Shot.
”Alright. You want to play? Fine."
Dark energy began to emit for his body and it swirled around him, transforming him into his Dark Reku form. His energy would not be able to sensed while he was in this state.
”I’ll wipe you out."
Reku raised his hand into the air, charging up an attack. He wouldn’t even pay attention to the rocks this time, due to being at the level where they were practically nothing to him.
Quemon was extremely good at not dying. After all, he had died so many times, he knew when to do something to avoid dying for longer. So, he used his tongue while underground to try wrap around Reku's feet, and pull him as deep underground as he could manage, which would absolutely be enough to disrupt his charging. He had the one advantage of Reku not moving because he felt so above it all, and he seems like he's in the mood to just try to level the castle right now.
And while he was busy pulling the guy down, he copied the Giant Ki Avatar Mastery that Reku had used to help him get past the turrets (2 more posts until that Fatigue kicks in for 1 round). At the same time, the fire helped deal with the small draft that was underground

Karma finished shooting flames into the hole to see it had no effect on Quemon, heck he didn't even notice it! She was pretty shocked that this was the case, but luckily Reku had just gotten a power boost. Karma let out a sigh of relief, thinking Reku would be able to take down the king. She then jumped back into the crowd to continue watching. "His reign must come to an end. Destroy-eth him!" She shouted encouragingly at Reku.
Reku felt himself beginning to be dragged underground, disrupting his focus and cancelling the charge. However, due to the vast difference in strength, he would surely be able to easily resist Quemon’s attempt to pull him under. The hybrid would attempt to reach down and grab his tongue that was wrapped around his legs and rip it out of Quemon’s mouth.
Reku hadn't been expecting the tongue to not quite rip as deep down as he would have liked, instead leaving him with a fist sized chunk of Tongue. And the worst part about it, most likely, was the fact that it didn't even hurt Quemon, and in fact, he was quite used to people doing such a thing to him.
"I have a proposition for you..." He said from underground. "I'll stand, right in front of the door, and no tricks, you can power up an attack exactly as powerful as you want. I bet it wouldn't even scratch me, so if I'm still alive, you just go home." Peregrinus kept charging his attack.

Karma liked the king's proposition, he was finally doing something honorable. This did seem strange, why was such a cowardly man allowing himself to be attacked by another obviously stronger than him? She began to tap her foot and try to warn/encourage Reku "Honorable Saiyan, I suggest you taketh the King's offer. An opportunity of this sort, only rears its head every now and then."
Reku was just about tired of Quemon talking, but for once he actually said something that pleased him. “Very well, if you really think you can stand against my attack, then go ahead!" He shouted, reluctantly acknowledging the majin’s advice . He jumped into the air and landed on the floor, looking at the door. He was eager to finish him off, but then he realized something. Quemon was a trickster, a coward, and full of pride. Why would he point out this door specifically, or even suddenly accept potential defeat at all? He knew something must have been up. As a precaution, he powered up to his second transformation and began to use his vision mastery to get a full view and see any traps.
Then his eyes widened upon his discovery, he looked in the direction of Peregrinus, seeing him through the walls and charging some sort of attack. ”WHAT THE HELL." He shouted at the top of his lungs., thinking that Peregrinus and Quemon were working together. Reku growled and clenched his fist, his aura beginning to flare up.
In all this fight, there had been but one error that Reku had made. He let the snake realize that he had caught wind of his plan. As soon as the words 'What the-' had come out of Reku's mouth, Peregrinus flung into action. He teleported to exactly behind where Reku was, and allowed the Dam of energy that he had been holding back to explode forth. It was hardly the most powerful it could be. He had still been charging it after all.
It would have felt like a wave of immense pressure, but rather than trying to push him out of the way, it would be attempting to burrow through him, until there was nothing left, and assuming he had lived long enough to propperly experience the pain, it would be nothing but pure agony. The power in this blast, as Peregrinus finally allowed to collapse onto the world and feel, would tower far and above anything that anyone there had likely felt before. The blast was more powerful than all of Reku combined if he pushed himself as absolutely far as he could go, not larger by a massive margin, but still larger.
And if Reku died, right then and there, Quemon wouldn't stop it, and he had been planning on drinking his booze when Reku looked like he was going to fire an attack, and would be blown away, much as the door, the walls, the castle, and much of the city outside. Karma, and indeed, most of the castle staff, would be spared purely by virtue of standing far enough out of the way that they were passed over by the blast.
Exactly the kind of opening act that a true, strong rule would require.
