"I can feel it....there's more strength..." Nexon whispered to himself as he stood atop one of the many buildings of West City, overlooking the streets. There was a feeling of restlessness washing over him as he contemplated the thought more. He had been told he was some sort of protector, though there were people he encountered that were able to tap into hidden power and made his own strength look as if it were nothing. The memory of his battle against the man named Reku continued to play through in his mind as the red head clenched his right fist tightly. "I need more power so I can keep guys like that in check but....I can't remember..."

Nexon would continue to talk to himself, the more he thought about his inability to transform, the more frustrated he became with his own lack of strength. Reku made it look easy so why was he having such a hard time copying what Reku did easily? Gritting his teeth, the red head would let tense his arm, the veins of his biceps pressing up against his skin before his body relaxed. There was no point in looking back and reminiscing, he had a goal in mind and now he was going to do whatever it took to unlock the well of power he felt hidden within. With a flash of light, Nexon's ki would flare up around his body, wreathing him in a white flame as he took off.

Although he didn't understand it himself, something made him excited at the prospect of being able to get stronger than he already was. A dormant instinct that never really left him, Nexon wanted to make himself the strongest he could possibly be and now he had something to strive towards.

Touching down on the soft soil of the outer regions of West City, Nexon would look around for an appropriate venue to let loose. A patch of dried dirt and grass caught his eye in particular, the Earth here was dead and there didn't seem to be anything living around. "Perfect. Now then, let's get right to it." Taking a breath in through his nostrils, the red head would relax his shoulders and arms, allowing his shoulders to drop an inch or so lower than normal. His abdomen would tense for a moment before relaxing as well until he felt his body was completely relaxed. Bringing his right arm across his shoulder, Nexon would stretch his triceps and pectorals, warming up before anything took place.

After a moment, the red head would finish his stretches before standing up in a basic horse stance, tucking his fists by his waist. Focusing, the male's aura would spark up around his form, roaring loudly as it continued to rise and rise. "Focus. Almost at maximum..." Nexon's strength continued to build and build, his aura rising into the air about twenty feet as the male stood in the center of what looked like a raging inferno. The dead grass swayed wildly, chunks of dirt and rock began to tear from the ground itself, rising into the air thanks to the pull from Nexon's aura. Finally, at the peak of his strength, Nexon's aura would disperse, his muscles tensing wildly and his body bulking up a bit.

"C-crap...looks like this is it. Well, let's see if we can go past it a little more..." As Nexon focused, his aura would spark back up as he began to try and use brute force to push past his maximum. In response, his body began to bulk and he felt a great deal of stress begin to move over every single tendon through his body. The pain of which forced the crimson haired half-breed to stop in his tracks. The pressure was too much for his body to handle and he felt as if he was going to tear every muscle in his body if he continued like this. "Gnn! N-not good...I feel like it's right there but I can't grab it! All that strength is just out of reach..."

"No use in just trying to force that strength out maybe I need more concentration?" At a loss of what he should do, Nexon began to think to himself, the best thing he could do right now was to focus on the problem. Moving down, he would sit on the patch of dead grass, thinking to himself though the more he focused, the more his dilemma came to mind. He still didn't know who he was, the only things he knew about himself were told from another person and he didn't know if he could really trust them. Letting out a frustrated sigh, Nexon would allow both hands to move up, grasping either side of his head as he felt completely lost. There was too much uncertainty and anxiety moving through his mind, the more he thought, the more questions popped up and the more he knew he did not understand.

"Shut up, shut up! Just...!" Through his frustration, a feeling of calm would strike him, Nexon's eyes closing as he centered his thoughts around the only thing he could trust; in his own power. Bursting from around his form, the males aura would wave wildly and as he continued to focus, so too did his ki. The massive flame began to move inward, slowly but surely being pulled into the center of Nexon's chest as he focused on keeping himself composed. His own doubt continued to eat away at him but he cast aside those doubts to stay in the moment and concentrate. The white aura would be only inches away from Nexon's body before finally hovering just above his skin and attire, making it look as if he was glowing.

"I feel...light." The weightlessness on Nexon's mind and body would allow his ki to flow more efficiently through his form. Like a gate that had been lifted, Nexon's power began to flow without restriction and he could feel it. For just a moment, Nexon's potential, the hard work and struggle over several years of his life began to shine through. Something in him remembered this feeling and with it, came a flood of memories, the red head snapping out of concentration. Trembling, he would take a moment to gather his thoughts, a laughter building through his shocked expression. "I did it! I did it!"
