Take What You Want
Your first lesson is to walk into a corner store and find something you want...and just take it. Try to be as nonchalant as you wish, but the buzzers at the door alert the shopkeeper to your attempted theft. You must try to escape before the police arrive, whether that requires fast footwork or a punch to the shopkeeper's face. You must return to Master Shen with the item.

After the whole city situation, Skylar begrudgingly decided to go back to her roots... her very shameful roots. As she walked up the the Crane School of Martial Arts she cringed and rubbed a gloved down her face. 'Why am I going this again...?' She thought, embarrassed. She knew that the Crane School wasn't the most morally abiding school out there, but it was the one she actually knew about. That's when Skylar steeled herself, sure about her decision to return, her gloved hand now in a fist. If she wanted to be on par with White one day or heck, even Tadeo, training was necessary.
"Ah, I couldn't forget that face! Skylar! Welcome back, nice new clothes. What can I do you for?" Master Shen greeted with a sly face as Sky opened the doors. All the students there stopped to snicker at Sky or to give her the once over. She growled and most looked away. "You know why I'm here... train me." Sky said not looking directly at Shen. Master Shen gave a smirk but shrugged, "Fine," he said, "BUT, you have to prove to me that you didn't go all goody-two-shoes on me after all this time away... hmm... I know! Steal something you want from the store down the road and bring it to me, I'll be out back." Skylar's eye twitched at the redundant exercise, but she sighed and agreed.
Skylar went over to the corner store with Master Shen and walked in as normally as possible, the bell on the door ringing to signal her entrance. She sighed, this would be too easy-she had the ability to blink away. Since it didn't particularly matter what she stole, she decided to pick something cheap seeing as she didn't want the person's business to suffer too much. Skylar went up to the counter and picked up a package of gum and then started walking out. The store clerk yelled at her to pay, but she didn't stop and when he tried to apprehend her she blinked out the door, triggering the alarms. Sky shouted her appologies at the man who tried to jump at her, now lying on the floor. She met Shen as agreed and threw the package at his face, glaring all the while even though she knew he'd just catch it and snicker at her. She folded her arms walking back to the dojo as sirens blared in the distance.
