Tobias sat at the wooden table on the wooden deck of the wooden cabin that he happened to be occupying for the next couple of days and at the very most the next couple of weeks. The table happened to be ringed by three chairs but only two happened to be occupied. One by Tobias himself, sitting back and staring off into the forest that surrounded the cabin, sipping tea out of a fine porcelain tea cup in his hands. The other of course being occupied by Kuro who curled into herself, bored, as she could not physically do anything. But, she couldn't complain after all, she was a ghost, this is what she signed up for. Tobias eventually put down his cup of tea on the tray that adorned the happenstance table. It was mahogany and quite nice.
"...uh... hey Tobias... um... so what are we doing again? Not that I forgot, but it would be nice to hear a more detailed explanation to pass the time and all..." whispered Kuro as she sat up a little more... if you could call it that. Tobi sighed, but inwardly softened a little knowing Kuro didn't really have anything to do, despite probably wanting to. She was goddamn selfless to a fault. It was frustrating sometimes. Tobias frowned just a little and said, "Very well, the reason we are here specifically because this place is in the middle of the woods at the foothills of a mountain range. It happens to be deserted and the government cannot interfere. They probably know I'm here seeing as I used their money and technology to pioneer my venture but it's my vacation days and I can do whatever the hell I want with them. Best part is that this used to be a government facility, used for who-knows-what. But none of that really matters."
He paused to take up the tea again, smirking. "Why I'm here, and in turn why you are here, is because I got some very interesting intel from a couple of personnel that happen to be loyal to me and my cause that says a very particular person was spotted in the towns nearby. I don't know too much about him but I think I know enough to say that I want him as an ally... after all I am only one person."
Kuro tried to hide her shivers of disturbance... she knew exactly what he needed allies for and she did NOT approve. But that hardly mattered. She crossed her phantom arms and retorted, "How do you plan on finding said person?"
Tobias put the tea down again, closing his eyes, still smirking, "Oh just a couple hundred drones flying around the area with limited A.I. capabilities. They have facial recognition technology embedded into them, and they're looking for his mask. Once they find it, they are programmed to greet him politely and send a signal to my laptop back in the cabin. Once a return signal is sent a short message asking him to meet us here in morse code should ensue, finally giving out the coordinates of our location. The drone would then guide him to us if he had no other means of finding said location."
"M-mask...?" Kuro gasped looking at the Kage Mask that also lay on the table. She wondered if all crazy people wore them... and if so how crazy was this person then!? "So that's what you brought that out for... but who says he'll come?"
"Oh he'll come... I just have a feeling about it."
