Quest One (Don't screw with the Queen):
The Babylonian army had only been on the planet of Namek for a short few hours before disorder and threats began to take place. They were in a region of grasslands, having placed down temporary huts and housing atop a large butte overlooking the vast outer areas below. Machine gunners and bird riders guarded the perimeter with enthusiasm as their leader sat alone in her throne, perched slightly above everyone. Her gaze distant, thinking heavily on the plan of strike, and what to do, before an alert struck her hard. It was a thick note written on leather parchments, the words across it detailing a venture out into the wilderness of the foreign planet. Natives, Namekians of the blood colored veriety slaughtered multiple demon patrols, including the commander Vox Kota. He was a great man, and one to look up to. His loss would be avenged, as Queen Edgy owed him at least that. She remembered his help in gathering the soldiers, protecting her, and even assisting in tactical training. He was truly someone worthy of praise, and they would be feasting on blood tonight. His name chanted at the mead hall while they drank away the pain with hard demon liquors.
She had already saddled up upon the bird demon, by the name of Z'el Katash, who flew her to the seat of the battle. More fighting was going on, remainders of her small squadron were clashing swords with the red namekians, soldiers of both sides being slashed down ruthlessly, filling the woman with a sudden feeling of delite. She jumped from her mount, hitting the ground hard, fist crashing into the dirt and tossing up sand into every direction. Mephisto barely got to make a grunt before blood sprayed over his blade, his edge digging through flesh and tearing apart the namekian. War banners high, and swords low, bodies began falling left and right as her troops became more and more ready to die for their empire. To give their life for the Queen was truly worthy, and with this enthusiasm, they quickly gained the upperhand. The enemies fleeing in dispair, and her friendly grunts lifting the corpses of friends to bury later, the battle was clearly a victory for the group. Normally, she would not touch such combattive situations, but to lose a friend required vengence... Best served cold.
Quest Two (Recruitment 101):
A week had passed since the release of Edgy's fury upon the rogue red namekians, the savages doing constant attacks on their fortress they began setting up. It was relatively hostile for the most part, until a surprise came across the demons as a green namekian squad came to the butte requesting an audience with the leader. It was non-hostile thus they were allowed to come in, sitting in chairs in the Queen's tent while Edgy prepared by retrieving her clothing. She had been busy getting her joints released, easing pain from combat. Upon the sight of her, the grand elder perched, knowing he was correct.
"You may speak. Why is it that you came to me? I have not been very fond of your vermillion brethren. I have lost many foot soldiers to their assaults. I know of your wars, and I think I might have an understanding of why you may be here today" Edgy's face stiffened into a grin, the crawling metal on her cheeks gleaming from the fire light. The two namekian guards seemed to be sweating, they knew the extremely high power that seemed to be hidden within the camp, possibly a Babylonian hidden weapon of sorts to them, they didn't know what it truly was.
The great elder lifted from his chair and took a deep breath, his chest expanding for a second, before he began to talk.
"We know of the recent major battle that occurred, the only moment you have ever left your castle during your stay on our planet. We had spies and scouts watching the entire fight to get a jist of what you are planning here and I was hoping to beg something off you. I have many woes that threaten my people. Many creatures and aliens that dare harm the well being of namekians as a whole, and I am not able to defend them. I have witnessed your strength, and your courage. You are definitely able to fight off some alien pirates?" He said for a second, before regaining his posture. "Of course, I know you wont work for free. You only arrived on the scene of the battle upon the death of your army's regional commander, so I assume you would want payment? I promise to use a mystical art, a namekian secret, upon you in exchange for helping our people. Will you accept?"
Edgy looked down at her hands, her index finger pressing against the hard grain, wooden warchair she sat in, before her eyes would look back at the elder with a certain set of glee. "I will gladly accept your offer. Just inform my scout on the wearabouts and we will solve the issue.".
That is what ended up leading to an excevation into the grasslands of the Maima region, where Edgy and a small crew of giant demons were slaughtering oddly shaped fish aliens who were sitting around, boozing up. They clearly were not expecting such a slaughter, and with the grand elder following behind, finding the guilty pirates was a simple endevour. It did not take long for the mission to be over, though the grand elder was shot in the stomach via a laser gun from one of the aliens, he pushed through as they made it back to the fort alive.
"Thank you for this, I am truly grateful. I will fulfill my bargain, do not worry. Quickly, hold my hand". Edgy did as he said, feeling the surge of energy come from the hidden potential being unleashed. It was so sudden it made her woozy. By the time she could see straight again, the namekians were gone, and the demons were at a loss. They had no clue. Maybe they would see them again?
Quest Three (Black Clan Sons of B*tches)
It had only been a few days since Edgy and her minions defended the Namekians and helped out the poor old Guru with his problem, when something came up within the reports and logs. An order, well, more like a request, from the Namekian Guru. It was an urgent request to find the long lost son of the Guru. Edgy was not normally an errand runner, but she did grow a slight attachment to the green men, and took a small squad of recon and stealth fighters. Mostly tiny, lowly dressed demons with little power levels that were so small you'd think it was just a frog if you even tried to hone in on it.
She gathered up the men, guiding them on a planetary search, tracking all files and records of the younger Namekian, when she received some odd news while on an active search. Old word of mouth records of a Namekian exactly as described. He was seen on a certain sacred land within the Maima region that held little to no life inside it, besides the few trees that grew there.
Edgy investigated the area, digging deeper within the forbidden realm while sensing a large group of average power levels. It was odd, finding any form of Namekian life out here in the wastelands, especially since it was forbidden to enter, and upon further evaluation, it was a cult meeting of sorts? Edgy could not see properly from her current distance, flying closer to try and get a better look on the area and properly see what these Namekians were up to.
As she got closer, she noticed the group of Namekians wore clothing different from normal attire, featuring symbols unlike what she could remember seeing on any other of the species on the planet. It was cause for alarm, until she saw the Namekian she was seeking. The son of the Guru was among these odd balls in a cult of sorts, which was unknown to Edgy until a Private beside her whispered in disbelief.
"The black dragon clan namekians... He is part of them now" She stated, getting nods from the entire group. They knew not to intervene now, and to report back to the Guru with the news of his son. He may not like it, but it was the news he was going to receive.
Edgy returned and informed the Guru of his son's exchange to the darker side, causing a deep depression in the alien. He was clearly stressed from his bodily aches and pains, being on Death's door, but this only worsened the pill the demon armies would need to swallow. Hopefully all would turn out well in the end...
Hopefully...
Quest Four (Torture is a Demon's favorite pass time)
News of the death of the Guru spread quickly on the planet of Namek, soon everyone knowing of the demise of their great spiritual leader. This spread problems like a wildfire, including spurs of rebellion and vindictive hate as namekians turned on each other in their time of desperation. Edgy was called in, her crew of Demons tasked with finding the murderer of the Guru at the expense of some very valuable items. The queen agreed, learning all she could of the murder that took place.
The scene showed signs of foul play. A bottle of poison laid on the ground, a form of alien plant cyanide with mixtures of magical concoction. It was an obvious finger point towards a medically trained Namekian, as well as a practicer of dark magics. Though, this was not enough to go off of, further investigation showed traces of skin from an apparent brawl of sorts, a possible escape, as well as torn clothing. This was all used in conjunction to form a tracking spell. Whoever it was that committed the murder would not survive to see the light of day, that was for sure.
The demon crew were already halfway to the murderer's hide out, an obvious cave within a mountain containing wall based lamp lights and flares of fire on torch mounts. Entering the dungeon itself was just like that of the castle Edgy woke up in when arriving in this Universe, which only furthered her enjoyment of the scenery. That is, until they saw the cowering Namekian hiding in the corner of a bedroom. He wore the clothes of the Black Dragon Clan, while wielding knife in his palm. His attempt to stab the Queen only resulting in the weapon being swatted from his grasp.
Two of the demons held the Namekian down as they led him to a chair in the room, Edgy using her magical materialization to form bindings holding the alien to the chair, and keeping the chair perfectly still and not to knock over and break. She herself, sat in a chair made of rock she formed with her magical materialization, only a few feet in front of the enemy Namekian and staring deep into his eyes with her cold and unloving grin. Her enjoyment of this procedure was only going to make it better. The demon by the name of Revvy would prep her electrical fingers, before sending small shocks into the man, while another larger demon started water boarding with a wet rag.
After hours of torture, the Namekian broke out into tears, confessing to the crime and begging forgiveness. He nearly gave names as to who pulled him into it, when a Ki beam shot through the air, piercing the chest of the green man. It was the leader of the Black Dragon Clan, who proceeded to fly away at a speed Edgy could not match. He managed to escape, despite the disdain from Edgy on the matter. She wanted answers, and to beat the shit out of the creature. This was going to be part of her kingdom one day, she hoped, and people like this monster were just fodder for her to use to gain more and more power.
Edgy returned to the main base with her information, planning further ahead. Next she would definitely take the fight to the Black Dragon Clan members. Any fights and murderers she committed in the name of the Babylonian Empire. She would sit alone within the camp, silently, planning her assaults. Nothing would stand in her way now that she was pissed. Even if hell were to rise from the afterlife realm and attack the Queen, she would still stand proud and ready.
