This message if for members of Razor Force and Shadic. Intel has informed us that a UFO has landed three miles from West City. We have already sent a scouting party to investigate, but they never came back. We can only assume the worst, your mission is to investigate the landing site, search for those men, and eliminate all hostiles. Meeting place: X-axis 6392 Y-axis 7393
Jay read all this over in his lab, as he was messing around with a small bio-mechanical cube. He took a screw driver and began working on it as he thought to himself. "Wonder who this Shadic guy is... May be it's a code name or something?" But, Jay didn't have time for this, he needed to get to work. The cube suddenly transformed into a watch which gripped itself onto Jay's arm like it was some kind of pet. Jay grinned, as his invention worked. After all those tests and trials, it finally worked. He ran out the door of his lab and blasted off into the sky heading towards West City.
Once he arrived, Jay landed at the meeting point. Now, where is this guy I'm suppose to work with.
As he was surfing the web, looking for cool things to buy on Amazon with his new government cash, Shadic received an email from some official government organization called Razor Force. He'd heard about Razor Force, after doing some digging once he was given his job, and they seemed like a solid group. 'Is this what Sythius meant when he said the government would have some jobs for me to do?' He asked himself, slightly annoyed. Then again, he wasn't busy at the moment, and this would be a good opportunity to make some more connections to heroes of Earth. That was always a good thing to have. So, with that in mind, he reread the email to figure out where to go. Unfortunately, the coordinates given to him were just that: coordinates. Shadic was no geographer by any means, so he had to take a few extra minutes researching where exactly the coordinates led to.
Once he figured that out, he was on his way to the UFO landing site near West City.
After some time of flying, Shadic spotted the unidentified flying object's LZ and made his descent to meet his allies. He touched down not too far away from Jay, to whom he quickly asked, "Hey, is this the UFO search party?"
Jay heard a man ask him if he was part of the search party. Jay couldn't sense any power coming off of him, so he figured it was just some civilian trying to be nosey. He dealt with it accordingly "I'm afraid I don't know what your talking about civilian. I am simply here patrolling the area..." that's when Jay realized, how did this guy know about the landing site? "umm, you wouldn't happen to be named Shadic," Jay asked with a confused look on his face, expecting a stronger fighter to be assisting him. Suddenly, Jay's scouter lit up and a power level of forty thousand could be seen not too far from his location, Jay gritted his teeth. "Why couldn't it have been abandoned..." Jay told himself.
Since Shadic's ki was untraceable, Jay seemed to think he was just some random civilian and not actually the powerful fighter he needed on his side. It was kind of funny, especially because Jay couldn't actually figure out the strength of his new hybrid ally. "I like to think my name is Shadic, if not that'd be the biggest plot twist of my entire life."
They didn't have time to chit-chat for long because a power signature popped up nearby. It wasn't anything to worry about, at least not in Shadic's mind, but the message did say they needed to 'search (for) and rescue' those guys. Shadic motioned with his head towards the power and started walking, "Let's go check it out! Maybe we'll meet some weird green alien thing with bug eyes!" He made his way towards the power with much enthusiasm and bravery, more than the normal person could ever muster.
Jay had been right, this guy was Shadic, he was a bit more enthusiastic than expected. Jay heard him say he wanted to check out the ship, and decided it would be a good idea. As Jay would walk over to the vessel, he could sense the power level from earlier slowly starting to grow and becoming more precise. Once the ship was in view, it could be identified as a changeling craft. If one were to focus, they may notice that the power level was not coming from the ship, but from outside. As Jay would continue walking to the ship he would find a soldier's body on the ground, "Well, what ever's going on here, they aren't friendly..."
Shadic noticed the downed soldier as they approached the ship. Jay said what everybody was thinking: this alien does not come in peace. The hybrid nodded in agreement, wondering what could have possibly done this. He did not know various ships by their origins, aside from Saiyans and their pods. Whatever it was, though, had quite significant power and was able to take out a member of Razor Force.
"You have any idea what we're dealing with yet, or is it going to be a nice little surprise for us?" Shadic asked Jay, who seemed to be knowledgeable about technology and stuff. It didn't matter what the alien was, since he planned on defeating it regardless, but knowing is half the battle.
Jay would stroke his chin looking at the fairly large saucer-shaped ship. He began deducing "well, it's not from earth as their are thrusters on earth vessels, and its not Saiyan or Namekian..." He would then sense a high power level draw never. Behind Jay and Shadic would be a short changeling. "Well, well, well. The mice enter the lion's den..." Jay grit his teeth and spat "Your one of those changeling service members... Aren't you?"
Jay was not sure where the vessel was from, but he did know where it wasn't from. Before his new ally could fully answer the question, the power level they had been sensing appeared behind them. The changeling spoke before either Saiyan turned around, in typical changeling fashion. Shadic turned around, surprised that they had been snuck up on. Jay showed his disgust towards the creature, but Shadic was more surprised at its cockiness. He had only ever seen two other changelings, and they were both quite confident in their abilities.
"Mice, huh? I mean, that's one sad lion if it's only able to eat mice rather than like a gazelle or something." Shadic joked, unbothered by the changeling. He offered no challenge to the hybrid, and Shadic was just waiting for the alien or Jay to make the first move.
The changling, being full of pride as he was, spat at Shadic's comment "You can't being to comprehend my strength! And your little friend is right, this world will belong to the changlings soon. I suggest you take your friends and leave before the rest of the invasion force comes." Though small, Jay's scouter would tell him this little guy had a power level of 100k. Jay could see this being was obviously powerful, he wanted to formulate a plan with Shadic before they did anything rash. "Well, we'll leave you to your work" Jay said while nudging Shadic. The changling was too confident in his abilities to sense any mutiny coming off of Shadic or Jay, and simply flew past the two back to his ship. "I expect you to be gone within five minutes!" the being would shout from a distance.
Jay would wipe sweat from his brow, and look over to Shadic "We can't fight a guy like that without a plan. Do you have anything that could stop that guy? perhaps beat him?"
The changeling was overly confident in his abilities, which is exactly what Shadic wanted. On top of that, his plans were the same as every other villains': world domination. Oh no, so scary! Jay signaled to the hybrid that they should lay off and formulate a plan, which sounded like a good idea. Even though Shadic was more than capable of defeating the changeling, with ease, he did not want to blow his cover just yet.
"The changeling is cocky. We need to find a way to use that to our advantage," Shadic stated, probing his brain for any ideas. Normally he would just go in loud, defeat the foe, and leave with no problems. With Jay tagging along, it was not going to be that simple, "We do technically outnumber him, so he will probably have trouble fighting more than one person at a time," His idea was a good place to start, but it still was not a full, fleshed out plan.
