Getting Antiquated --------------------------
Sanctimonious Asshat stepped from the ship, Edgy had insisted he come to this planet in order to temper his fear of alien beings. The air had an odd rocky taste to it, vastly different than he had tasted on Namek. He had heard myths and legends about the planet while on Namek, of beings that could travel faster than the speed of light over short and long distances. The idea of learning to do this intrigued the namekian as he walked further into the planet, perhaps he would seek out one of the Yardratians to learn their secrets.
He went on his way to find one of these people of the planet. Settlements seemed almost non-existent on the planet as he traveled for what felt like a multitude of miles or so. However after some time he came upon a small collection of houses. Asking around amidst the short pink people he was relieved to hear that a martial arts master lived in the village that could perhaps offer Sanctimonious Asshat the guidance he needed to learn from the Yardratian people.

The Test --------------------------
Sanctimonious Asshat knew not how long he had been on the planet known as Yardrat, days here seemed to pass rather oddly in comparison to Namek or even the calendar for a planet known as E-Arth he had heard about from the humans at the Capsule Corps compounds on Namek. However he did encounter something he did not know existed while he remained on Yardrat, a concept known as night time. Apparently it occurred when a portion of the planet faced away from the system's solar body or star. If this were the case perhaps Namek's suns covered the planet far too well.
Sanctimonious Asshat's first real task from his Yardratian teacher came as a task to defeat his fellow students in a three on one fight. Their physiques gave him the illusion that they were all rather adept fighters, but with a fragile build. Their spar started in a valley not too far from the nearby village, the teacher watched from the sidelines to ensure that no one cheated in the fight. The first few minutes alone were flooded with the three gazing down on Sanctimonious Asshat. The first one launched himself at the namekian and was far faster than Sanctimonious Asshat had anticipated, he had to raise his guard as he fought him, one decisive blow was all that was needed however to drop the first one.
The second one came at Sanctimonious Asshat a tad slower, but he seemed to take his time as Sanctimonious Asshat moved around him. As Sanctimonious Asshat made his strike he learned why, as the Yardratian was a rather durable lot, taking much of what Sanctimonious Asshat gave and dishing out his own attacks. However he would quickly be subdues by Sanctimonious Asshat's advantage as far as speed is concerned. Sanctimonious Asshat made sure to launch himself at the third one, getting the first strike in, only to be knocked back almost as far as he flew as the strike hit him. Taking the fight at range, he would crush the opponent by using his biology to his advantage.

First Day --------------------------
Sanctimonious Asshat rose with the sun the next morning, seeing the pink and orange horizon was mesmerizing, he had never experienced a beauty quite as exquisite as it despite the time he had been on the planet. Taking in all of this new information on top of learning from the Yardratian master was almost overwhelming for the namekian, but he knew that there was much to learn from these people and he wanted to see what he could before making his way back home to finish what he had started with his people.
His lesson for the day was to mimic and learn the martial arts of the Yardratian peoples, their movements made him think of the advanced styles of the namekians with the impossibly moved and positioned parts of their bodies just taking advantage of their sheer flexibility. Watching carefully, he didn't want to miss anything he could be learning from his mentor at this time. When the time came however he was offered a garb to train in, one that looked eerily similar to what his mentor wore.
The movements came to him naturally, like water in a stream or the wind through the leaves of the trees, he lost himself in thought and concentration as his body mindlessly mimiced the movements he had watched not an hour before hand. His body was water and the air around him was his stream, his body moving seamlessly without restraint or conflict with the way the style demanded movement. He began to pick up the pace as to keep it fresh in his mind with each set, so that he could get it flawless, to truly master the styles and arts of the Yardratian people.
Time flew almost instantaneously as Sanctimonious Asshat trained, the sun setting once more, the colors almost like that of the sunrise but far less warm, he was met more with melancholy hues and thoughts alike. Either way he was stopped with applause from his mentor, who had seen his last set before he stopped. He had finally managed to conduct his practice in a means to satisfy the Yardratian, he went to rest as he knew the next morning would be his final lesson with the unique alien.

The Challenge --------------------------
The day had finally come, as it always does when one is learning under another. It was the day that he graduated under the Yardratian who had been teaching him. He had been informed of a creature on the planet that exceeded the power of even his own teacher, who in many ways seemed stronger than Sanctimonious Asshat himself. A creature that lived to the north of the tiny village, legends told of this being belting fire over the country side and picking off those that left the safety of the village, the idea of this both excited Sanctimonious Asshat as well as making his antennae stand on end. Could there truly be such a creature?
His mentor told him that the creature needed to be dealt with once and for all, and that Sanctimonious Asshat was ready to take up the task that many before had failed to accomplish. There was but one last skill the Yardratian had not taught the namekian. This skill, passed to him telepathically was to be reserved until the time was right and only then would he truly understand the use and capabilities of this ability should that time arise. With this in mind, Sanctimonious Asshat packed what little he had and made off for the creature, saying his goodbyes to the Yardratian and the remainder of the village with promises to finally end the beast.
The mountains to the north were as rugged as Sanctimonious Asshat could have ever imagined, the peaks rising almost endlessly and the valleys dropping to unimaginable depths, but it would not take long for Sanctimonious Asshat to find where this beast was said to reside, making his way into the beasts lair, a voice boomed through the cavern. It warned him to leave whilst he could and keep his life, but the namekian knew not fear, but rather loyalty to those that had willingly taught him despite him being an outsider to their kind and their village. He owed it to them to end the monstrosity that lie within.
The identity of the beast was reveled as Sanctimonious Asshat stepped into the antechamber of the cavern, a dim flame erupting from its mouth as it monologue about itself and the fear it brought about to the people of the planet. However Sanctimonious Asshat soon made light of his speech and challenged the beast to combat. The fight was more difficult than the namekian imagined as he was left in pitch darkness, relying on his ears to locate and avoid some of the beasts attacks. However when all seemed lost Sanctimonious Asshat remembered the one tiny detail to the skill the Yardratian had told him, that he had to rely on his ability to see the unseen and track their life energy. Then the use of the technique would be made apparent.
Tracking the enemy, Sanctimonious Asshat saw now, putting his fingers to his forehead, he followed the ki of the beast, tracking its movements without using its eyes and getting critical strikes where it could not see him. In no time he was able to dispatch of the beast, leaving the people of the village and quite possibly the planet in a greater peace than they already knew. With his training and task done, Sanctimonious Asshat used his newfound ability to make his way back home, homing in on a warrior on the planet to teleport to Namek and be back home.
------------
Instant Transmission: It is a technique for traveling long distances instantly. This action is usually accompanied by the user placing his index and middle fingers on his forehead to help him concentrate. Also during battle, in order to successfully do this one needs 2-3 turns with uninterrupted concentration.
Because Instant Transmission requires a ki signature to lock onto (whereas Instantaneous Movement does not), the successful performance of the technique is dependent on one's ability to detect them.
