After assisting the local people of Yardrat, James decided to continue his training elsewhere. Not too far away was the planet Vegeta, the home world of the saiyans. Jay was some what familiar with the planet, and was no stranger to saiyans, it would certainly make for good training. Jay was about his small ship, and began to plot a course for the warrior world. "I should be careful, Vegeta locals aren't always the nicest bunch..." James told himself. Within a few hours, he reached the surface of the planet. Upon stepping off his ship, the first thing he noted was the gravity. He had already experienced a similar sensation on Nexon's old ship, but this was much more natural.
James had no clue as to where he was, but figured civilization wasn't too far away. He flew into the air to get a better view, but found it hard considering the gravity. He did manage to fly about thirty feet into the air, which was just enough to spot a small party of saiyans on a dirt path. "Maybe those guys can direct me toward this planet's best teacher," he thought. Jay flew over to see six sayian males, seeming preparing for some sort of fight. That's when one big bald Saiyan noticed James flying above. "Well, well, well, what do we have here boys." he spat. Jay descended to the ground in front of the group, not knowing what exactly to say.
The saiyan who noticed Jay gestured to the other five, and began "This place is our clan's ground. You had better get off of it, unless you want the beating of a life time. Jay's scouter lit up, informing him that the saiyans had power levels around one thousand each. If they were to engage in combat it would not be a fair fight. Jay raised his right hand and pressed it outwards toward the saiyan talking to him. "I would suggest you surrender, and apologies to me before I kick your asses! You can also tell me who the strongest warrior on this planet is while your at it." The men all laughed as they all began to charge their power and rush at Jay.
The first saiyan to attack was the bald headed big mouth, Jay simply grabbed his face and threw him into a near by tree. Two saiyans managed to get a couple punches in on James, but they were hardly effective. Another saiyan lunged at jay with a kick, but as he did, Jay grabbed his leg and threw him into another saiyan who was charging at him. The remaining two saiyans knew their opponent was strong, so they wanted to see how strong. Together they simultaneously blasted energy waves at Jay, but when the smoke cleared Jay was gone. The two saiyans then suddenly fell to the ground knocked out, with Jay standing over them. "This how you treat you guests?" James jokingly said. He then continued down the dirt path, searching for a town or city.
