The strange pod that John had been gifted (definitely not the one he purchased for one hundred zeni) came crashing down on the new planet. The government had assigned the man to a mission: do some reconnaissance on the Black Dragon Clan, get as much information as he could. Since he was the least intimidating human on the planet, and since he basically had no emotions, John was definitely the best fit for the job. John Smith rose from the ship and looked around, amazed by the place. He was actually on a different planet. It had air, it had green water, it had a pink sky, it had more than one sun, and it was actually kind of crazy. Even John couldn't help but stand in awe, looking around at the planet before him. The government said a trip to Namek would be a life changing experience, but John did not expect it to be that big of a deal. It was a big deal.
Before John could take off into the air and start exploring, he saw three natives having a fight. Two of the alien creatures were red, with orange patches around their bodies, and the other one was green with the same patches in similar spots. By the looks of it, the green alien was getting jumped, and losing badly. The reds were down talking the green one, who called out, "Let me alone!"
His morals kicking in, John nonchalantly walked over to the tussle and asked, "What are you doing?" The red Nameks glared at John, shoving the green one on the ground. They had acquired a new target, this human who dared to interrupt their mugging.
The green Namekian grabbed onto John's leg and said, "Here, take my power! Avenge me! Aghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" The Namekian over acted his death, but he did indeed die after instilling his power into John. The human, with slightly more strength than before, got in his fighting stance that he'd learned from his time at the Crane School. The Nameks laughed, also taking up their own fighting stances. It was alien, no doubt, much different than anything John had ever seen. It didn't matter, though, because he was more than capable of defeating both of these slug men.
One of the Nameks threw a haymaker at John, trying to knock him out cold with one hit. The human ducked under the punch, stepped to the side, lined up the two red plant creatures, and threw his punch. The first Namek got sent flying into his friend, then both of them continued flying off until they slammed into the side of a cliff. John dusted off his knuckle on his tracksuit when suddenly his communicator started acting up, "Good work out there Johnny Boy."
It was his ally, Big Shot, who was going to help John complete his mission in a reasonable amount of time. Brand was somewhat skeptical of the Earth Government, too, so he was also John's eyes and ears from any sketchy set-ups. Prior to leaving for the green planet, Big Shot gifted John a pair of spectacles that would allow the android to see everything the hero could see. They were thin-framed glasses that looked like an actual pair of glasses and not some goofy spy eyewear.
"I must say, I am beyond impressed at your fighting style. It just has a certain flavour that is so unique! Anywho, according to my unneeded calculations, the Black Dragon Clan is in hiding. Surprising, I'm sure. What I suggest you do is do something to get their attention, something big," Brand quickly did some work on his computer database, "There are reportedly some space pirates who have been ambushing people of Namek, Red and Green alike. I suppose taking them out would draw some attention to you."
Brand clapped and rubbed his hands together, which was very loud on the communicator, "Get to it, John! The fate of Namek is in your hands, to a certain degree at least."
