Over a recent mod discussion, and after throwing around an idea, we've settled on amping up the Fusion trait. Here's the summary of the Fusion trait now, and what you're capable of doing with it.
Fusion: This trait allows two people to fuse, increasing their power level and stats in base form beyond what it would be separated. There are two types of Fusion: Metamoran (Fusion Dance) and Potara (Earrings). Metamoran lasts for 30 posts, with a 20 post cooldown. Potara lasts for the whole thread, but the two separate in their last post. As such, there are certain advantages and disadvantages with each type of Fusion:
With either type of Fusion, the players of the PC's are allowed to come up with 2 Ultimate Attacks, one of Fused Techs and one original Fusion Tech (e.g.: Vegito - Final Kamehameha, Spirit Sword/Gogeta - Big Bang Kamehameha, Soul Punisher/Stardust Breaker). No Ultimatum Attacks can be made (techniques that are powerful but will end in suicide like Final Explosion), but the use of them is allowed only if both players agree on it. Potara Earrings can be unlocked via questline, and are only attainable then. The Fusion Dance is attainable through a questline, as well, but players could be made with the trait already obtained, and the dance already learned. When choosing what techs you can use for your fusion character, only a certain amount can be allowed. Take the number of techs one fusee has, and divide it by two. That's the number of techs that fusion partner can put in there. The same goes for the other fusion partner. When using the Fusion Dance and adding one more person into the mix, only one Ultimate Attack can be made. The players can choose between a Fused Tech or a Fusion original Tech.

Potara lasts for the whole thread, but the two separate in their last post. As such, there are certain advantages and disadvantages with each type of Fusion:
- Fusion Dance: Two people can fuse for 30 posts, and it can be used more than once in a thread. In addition to this, only one more person can fuse into this type of fusion, but they'll need the Fusion trait. This does not include Potara fusions, and it does not reset the amount of time they're fused for. When fused with a third person, the base form power level of the fusion is added with the base form power level of the third fusion partner, but they lose a tier in transformation. Regular Fusion Dance fusion will make the new power level the sum of both individuals power levels. Their stats are the average of their stats in base form. If the two have an added power level of 20k or up and are of the same race, they can go into their first tier, even without unlocking it. This goes the same for the following tiers, and if they're the same race.
- Potara Earrings: Two people can fuse for the whole thread. However, if they're separated during that thread (eg.: through a very powerful attack, or something like Majin Buu's stomach?), they can't refuse like that for the rest of the thread. Both people with and without the Fusion trait can use this type of fusion, but it's only for two people, not three. If two people of different tiers fuse together using the earrings (eg.: tier 3 and a tier 1), subtract one tier from the highest tier character, unless the two fusees are a tier 1 and a no tier. The Potara earrings can't be taken off once they're on. Only when the thread is over do they magically come off, as their threat and work is done. The base PL and stats are the same for the base PL and stats of Fusion Dance.
