OFFICIAL RULES
Written by beastboybrown.
Written by beastboybrown.
I decided to try and put all the rules together into one area and simplify them to make it easier for everyone, as well as easier to understand. I am hoping that by doing this, maybe it will even help some confusion that keeps coming up. Then if something further comes up, we can simply modify these set of rules, instead of adding on to more. Atleast this is my idea.
And to start off with, here is the character sheet- w11.zetaboards.com/DBZ_RPG/topic/8390159/1/#new
Characters
(special note: I highly recommend any person who's new to look over other approved characters as an example how to fill one out. It will help you.)
When a person first comes on and wants to play, you must fill out a character sheet. Obviously, without a character you cannot play. When you go to the new character section, at the very top is a Character application. Simply copy/paste then fill it out…quite easy. Once that’s done, you will need an Admin approval. You cannot play the character without approval. Attempts at interaction in a topic without character approval can very well be deleted, if you attempt to do so.
Race
In this rpg, you can choose to be any race your imagination comes up with, there is no limits on race, you don't have to be only from the dbz universe.
Keep in mind when you are writing up a character sheet and pick a race, do not assume you automatically get the abilities of the race you picked, because you saw it on TV from dbz/Other shows. Your character only has the abilities you put down. If your character doesn't have it listed on his sheet, you don’t have it!
Example: Saiyan character and Oozaru.
If you want this, you have to list it. Any race could have their own racial hulking out version of this as well…but it has to be listed. And if you put this on your sheet, keep in mind, control over yourself will be greatly limited mentally.
There are only two things you will be allowed to have without mentioning them, which everyone automatically gets: flying and ki sense.
If you don’t want these abilities, feel free to use them as one of your weaknesses.
Another note: Everyone has a pretty good idea on the history of certain races on dbz, such as Saiyans. But if you are coming up with your own race, just make sure it doesn't clash with someone else if they came up with the same race first. You can still be as different as you want with them. But if a person tries to dictate how your race should behave something simple as 'you came from another universe' or such can easily explain away any possible issues with race clashes.
Once the character is made and approved, you are not allowed to change it. Common sense…if you change the character in any way after it was approved, then it’s obviously no longer approved because it was changed. Because of which, you cannot change it. You can ask an admin to make some changes, and if they find it fair, they can make the changes for you. But in no way for any reason can a player touch their own character. The only exception to the rule is if an admin must make changes to their own character. But they still need to ask another admin and have it approved, to do so before hand.
A person is allowed to make up to 3 characters at a time. For more details, see REINCARNATION.
Topics
Topics are the general area a person posts to play in. When making one, it requires a name and has a description bar. The description bar is very important because it basically states to other people whether you have it as an open topic or private. If you don't care who jumps into your game, then list it as open, which encourages people to enter your topic. if you want only specific people to enter, make certain to list it as 'private' or 'ask permission to join' and list the people that's allowed to be in. If you do not do this, whether it says open or not it will be assumed it is an open topic. So, be warned!
Topic ruling. A person who creates a topic could put some kind of rule or theme into it, for their own preference. This is needed to be done on the first post. If they don't do so, then that rule can be ignored, since no one can create rules on the fly. Once a rule is set in place, it can't be changed....not even by the person that made it. So be careful when you make an unusual rule in a topic, since it can be used against you.
Also, each character is allowed to be in up to 3 topics at a time for each character you have. Keep in mind, if you have more than one character, you cannot throw him in the same topic with another pc character of yours. You can't use pc characters in order to 'gang up' on other people.
Time Lines
General: This DBZ site takes place 100 years in the future past the age of Goku, which explains why you never see cannon characters, except those stated in quests.
Topic: The immediate time line for your character can be confusing because your dealing with 3 different time lines at once, plus quests, death, etc. This site personally has no particular set way of time. That is basically left up to your and the order of how you'd want your character to face things. Just because you post a topic at a later time, it does not mean you have to follow that it happened at a later time. If you want to say this happened in the past for your character, you can. Again....there is nothing set in stone for time....that is left up to you.
Surroundings
Whatever topic you are playing in, everyone has a general surroundings. It's not something that has to be mentioned at all, but some people want to state where they are and what they are doing. Sometimes stating your surroundings can offer an advantage or disadvantage to another person. If the first person that posts do not mention their surroundings, another person has to right to state so (to an extent). Then the next person can add to it (but not change or remove what has already been said, as long as the other person was being reasonable). Please always use common sense!
Keep in mind, you cannot use the land around you in order to attack another person....that's what your characters are for. You cannot create insta lightning storms to shoot lightning at people, you cannot create volcanoes to attack other people, and you cannot create instant tsunami's to try and drown a person. These are examples....I'm sure there's other ways of being stupid. The point is....don't do it. You created your character for a reason....use your character to fight your opponent, not the land around you!
General Battling
This game is considered freestyle. That means, there is no dice rolling to determine anything, but there are still rules to even freestyle.
You are not allowed to state that your attacks actually took place, everything is based on intention.
Ex: you fire a ki and hit him point blank, killing him. (wrong way to post)
Ex2: you fire a ki point blank at him, with the intention to kill him. (right way to post)
Don’t play stupid. If one person has a 10000pl, and other has a 200pl, it’s pretty obvious the one with 10k is going to wipe the floor with the other. Someone with obvious weak pl in comparison to another attempts to play like they’re even if the weak can somehow defeat him, that’s considered god-modding and not allowed. Warnings will be given, if such an act happens.
If two players fight and cannot resolve who is the one winning in their battle, whatever the case or pl difference, an admin can intervene. That admin can and will make the decision if need be. If an admin is one of the players, another admin will be used to make a neutral determination, so there is no possibility of bias.
NPC Status
If you leave the game and your character becomes inactive, basically that turns your character into an npc, making him open game to be used by the admins at any time. So, don’t whine if you leave then come back and find out you’re character’s being used or removed from the game. If this happens and you decide you want to take that character back, you will probably be allowed to (unless some special case comes up – Admin discretion). Keep in mind any of the time your character was played as an npc, it will not be counted as pl add-ups for you. After all…during that time he was an npc. If it wasn't controlled by you, you don’t get the points.
Players are allowed to make their own npcs, whatever number they want. Obviously, you must use common sense and not get stupid with the number. An admin can have them removed at any time if this is abused. NPCs are not allowed to be more powerful than their own player without valid reason and admin approval. The exception is if a player creates some npcs to make it challenging for a topic. Keep in mind, if that happens they’re considered ‘side battles’, and are in no way an epic battle that admins create. Because of which, you still cannot make the enemies over-the top. After all…that could attract other bad things happening in other topics. So…use common sense. Again, if it’s too much, an admin has every right to intervene and do whatever they need to put it under control.
NPC ownership
If you made the npc, it's generally yours. Normally you want to make an npc that has some significance towards your PC characters. If you're just whipping up an npc with no relation to any pc character, then basically it becomes an open npc without any real ownership. Be careful on that, because that means other characters can also control your npcs. That's why it's always best to have an npc have some relation to a pc character. Those that do are generally controlled by the person who made it (unless there's been some rule stated somewhere by an admin/mod or on a character sheet).
Cannon Characters
No one is allowed to be a cannon character from the show or from anywhere (DC Comic/Marvel/Sonic). No one is allowed to use/play a cannon character as an npc without admin permission. I don’t care how minor. If you want to play it, you need permission.
Cannon Exception: The only exception is certain cannon characters in quests can of course be played as your teacher in that specific quest only, such as Master Roshi, Master Shen, Gen Tao, King Kai, etc. Please try and play these specific characters to the best of your ability as they would be played. It is highly frowned upon to play a teacher as a 'suck-up' to your characters (cough) greatness. Please keep that in mind when writing the quests.
Rankings: We have had many arguments on this and I wanted to state. You can become a rank but each rank takes requirements. (Planet Ruler/ Supreme Kai/ President/Namek Guru.) each have a general list of how to become. With that said you need usually 1 (To fight the old ruler/ Race Requirements/ Votes/ ---/) Just PM beastboybrown.
Quests: Quests are a quick way to gain in power, though there is a limit to how much you can do. All players are only allowed to gain up to 10k per month in quests, while topics you have no limit. This cap starts upon the time a person's character reaches 10k. That means basically a newb could reach a max of 20k the first month. After that, it's 10k per month. If you get a free technique with a quest, keep in mind that gets approved separately then the normal quest pl point approvals. If it's not separately approved, then the move wasn't approved and you need to have an admin check it out for approval.
Epic Battles
Epic Battles are created by an admin for a special event where heroes can come together to fight the most recent ‘bad guy’. This is one of the few times NPCs can be made to huge power amounts (admins only), in order to fit with the epic battle being…epic. Because of the danger in these battles, any who join will get the double amount of power level when posting (200 instead of 100 per post). But, there is the risk if a character is in this type of topic, they will die. If a PC does not want that danger, they shouldn't join. Once the players who want to be in accept and jump in, there will be a calculation on the size of the power level players are. Once that is calculated, a size limit will be established to cap off any future joiners. That way, a pc can’t find out what all the bad guy’s pls are, try to boost themselves outside the topic, then jump in later to ruin it for everyone. Also, the admins reserve the right to stop any late jump-ins at any time, if they feel they already have enough players, or it became too late into the saga to have more.
Unlike a topic, in an epic battle you are allowed to have as many pc characters that you control in an epic battle, regardless of any other general ruling that might be stated. In other words, if you happen to own more than 3 characters and those other characters simply aren't used anymore, they can still be played here even if that means you are presently playing more than 3 characters.
No-Shows
Generally in a topic and even in epic battles, players can occasionally vanish from site. This can slow down said topics/battles. To ensure it does not become a killer though, there is a maximum waiting time before that character is skipped.
In a topic, after 3 days the absentee can be skipped for that turn. If this is a topic with many people, it's preferred this to be a non-violent skip, if possible. That means, just ignore the person and have him zone off and no one notices him. That will give the person time to come back and do something. But it's understood that there are circumstances one can't be ignored like one on one battle posts, etc. If that's the case, then technically the other person will be allowed to put in a free shot and wound (not kill) the other. But if possible, try to keep it a low or no damage post, if possible. Once that takes place and it's that person's time again and there's still a no-show, then the next person in line is free to make the move on how that person is removed from the topic. Please remember to keep it clean. No porn is accepted in the writing of another person's character.
In an epic battle, after 3 days if there is a no-show that person is skipped. Unlike topics where one tries to have it a non-violent skip, a skip in an epic battle can be devastating for a player, for it is normally seen as a violent skip. There is the possibility your character can be lucky and nothing happens to him, but odds are someone will attack you and you 'will' be heavily damaged for missing your turn. Though it's a no-kill skip, this one skip can mean the difference of having a strong steak in the battle or be ready to die. So, it's highly suggested one does not skip in an epic battle. Again, by second skip, you're pretty much out of the game.
No-Show exception: If you are in a topic or epic battle and you know you are going to be gone for a certain period of time which cannot be avoided, then please make sure to pm an admin to explain your absence and exactly how long you'll be gone. If it's within a reasonable amount of time, the said admin can warn the people in chat and during those days they can basically pause the battle during that time until your return. Of course, if your absence is going to be a very long period of time (months, years), just quit the topic now. Obviously, no one will wait that long.
Transformations
A character has two ways they can transform. Racial ‘beast’ transformation (ex. Oozaru or the equivalent), or Evolutionary transformation (ex. Super Saiyan or equivalent).
When one transforms by evolution, they must reach certain pls….20,000 (lvl 1), 40,000 (lvl 2), 100,000 (lvl 3). First level x2, second x4, and 3rd x6 ones pl for the entire topic. Once they reach that level, they must post themselves performing the transformation (in the transformation topic). It must also be atleast 3 paragraphs long. They will not be allowed to transform until that is done.
For beast transformation, it doesn't require a certain pl. But it needs to be stated on the character sheet, or they don’t have it, regardless of race. Any racial transformations allow them to increase their pl by +50% until the end of the topic (or something is done to cut it short, depending on stipulations to keep such forms). Any and all beast like transformations also have the negative effect of making the character fight on an instinct-basis, limiting their ability of tactics (big stupid beast effect). A person playing this form ‘must’ play in this way as well, and will be warned if they try to play ‘smarter’ than one possibly could in that form. If a player does not like that handicap, then don’t pick this type of transformation.
Transformations cannot combine. In other words…if one transformed to beast mode and wanted to go super Saiyan, beast mode is canceled. You can’t have both. This includes other power-ups, such as Kaoi-Ken or similar. Only one type of power-up at a time. Period.
Teleportation
There are two types of teleportations in this game....long ranged and short ranged (blink). A blink is pretty much instantaneous and can be used once per turn. It can be used as an edge or attempt to escape at a certain distance. You cannot use blink to leave a topic. You cannot use blink more than once in the same turn (once per post, people). Long ranged teleportation can bring you across galaxies, but for a price....it's not instantaneous and takes time to use it. Normally long ranged teleporting is used out of battle. But if a person attempts to use it in battle, they have to wait 3 full undisturbed turns for that to work. This is done for a reason....it is not allowed to use teleportation as a way to try and jump in and out of a topic in the attempt to heal up and go after your opponent some more. Which brings me to the next ruling....
Topic leaving
Whether a general topic or epic battle....if you leave it, you're gone! There is no coming back in the topic without permission from the one running the topic and an admin. So if you don't want to be gone forever from that topic, then don't leave. Leaving a topic means you are so far away from the battle, it is literally impossible for a person to get you.
Exception - people with telepathy are allowed to be outside a topic and communicate to people inside a topic. Technically in that sense they are not in an area that can be attacked, while at the same time still be in a topic because they are communicating. Of course, while outside that topic said person is still not allowed to engage in anyway against other characters because they're not there. They would have to enter the topic to engage. But it is the cowardly way of being in a topic while not having a chance of being hurt.
Character accessories
You cannot suddenly create things on a character to give him an instant edge against others. You don't start a player character with instant wealth and power. If that is going to be part of the way your character is, you would need to place it and have it approved on a character sheet first. It's not something you can just suddenly have after the character is made. Another way to do so is through role play. Over time if you want your character to gain things, it's going to have to be played in topics how your character has grown to gain the things you want....something to be shown as development over time. If that's not properly shown, you're not going to have it. That also includes instant ships, technology, factories, teleporters, etc. etc....they don't just appear out of thin air. Your character had to have gotten it somehow. This includes you npc character. Do NOT use an npc character to have some infinite amount of power/wealth/technology...and for some odd reason decided he wanted to share it with your pc character to go nuts and splurge on. In the real world if you have a guy with that kind of power/technology, he would have to have a damn good reason to let someone else use his stuff. You need to have that played out and show the relationship and why this dumbass decided to let your character use his stuff.
With that said, if you have use of any kind of technology/doodads and you want to use that in a topic, you better make sure to point these things out ahead of time, either in private to someone you're working a plot line out in, or at the very least in the beginning of a topic. You go a few posts and decide 'hey, I got this big cannon that's been pointing at my opponent all this time, and now I'm gong to shoot it!' No! If you didn't state so ahead of time, it didn't happen! So, don't even try!
Character knowledge
The knowledge your character has starts from whatever was stated on your character sheet. From there, all the knowledge he gains is from interacting in topics, doing quests, epic battles, etc....this shows your character growing and learning. With that said, keep in mind your character DOES NOT have any knowledge outside what was just stated. If your character was not in a topic that took place which you as a player happen to read, your character does not have that knowledge. That includes anything that happens on chat. Yes, this should be considered common sense, yet it seems to happen so often that people try to have their character know things they shouldn't. Don't do it! Player knowledge is against the rules! You will get warnings, and admin may have to take action for continued stupidity.
Death Rules
When a person dies, they don’t actually die…they end up in line to see King Yamma in Otherworld. You will post in transformations the mini topic that you start in line to see him. Only admins are allowed to play King Yamma. If the player has a preference, they can ask for a specific admin to play him. He will judge you and send you to heaven/hell. Once that happens you have new quests open for you to choose to play, if you wish. Keep in mind, if your character died in one topic and you're in 2 others....it does not affect those other 2 topics. You just keep playing them like nothing happened. You simply can't start another topic during the time you are dead.
Resurrection
When a player dies, they cannot start another living topic for 7 days real time while dead. They cannot start any sooner then those 7 days (unless they got some valid reason and approval by an admin to return early for some reason). Once those 7 days had passed, their character can miraculously be resurrected and start again. How? That can basically be made up by the player. People generally do Otherworld quests, and have one of the Kai's (or demon) send them back. But really, the discretion is up to the player.
Death-death
When in the afterlife, if a person is killed…they’re dead forever. After all, in the afterlife they’re just a soul. Keep in mind, no one is allowed to kill another character in the after life without that players permission. And fighting is normally broken up by people in Otherworld, so…don’t try anything stupid.
Reincarnation: A player is allowed to play up to 3 PC characters. If they want to play another, one has to die, retire that character, or there’s the option of reincarnation. Death means you permanently kill one character off, to make room for a new one. Retire means you basically surrender the character to npc status (that you do ‘not’ play) and he’s simply…no longer active. Reincarnation is similar to killing the character off, except one third of the dead character’s pl can go into your new character. Your new character does not possess any memories, experience, or knowledge of the past character, since he’s reincarnated. But getting part of his soul, you obtain some of his power. This allows people bored with their old character to make a new one and not lose everything in the process. There is no limit to how often a person can do this (but try not to get stupid about it, k?).
Dragonball rules: Due to an incident that took place on Namek in the game, there is presently only one active set of dragon balls, which is on Earth. Chasing after dragon balls is considered a special event which will be done and announced by an admin when it can start. No one is allowed to find dragon balls without admin approval, so don’t try!
Keep in mind if trying to obtain all 7 dragon balls in the attempt to get a wish, there’s going to be fights that take place in order to do so. That means, there’s risks to any player jumping into this, that they might die in the attempt. If you don’t want that to happen, then don’t get involved…period. We don’t want to hear it.
Once this begins, dragon balls can only be obtained once per day in a topic. The character also needs to have some reason in obtaining this. They cannot simply ‘know’ of them for no reason and start seeking them out. You must have a logical reason to want them. Therefore the post must be approved and accepted by an admin once done. If no admin got a pm on this, then the post will not count! Also if the excuse isn't valid, you can re-edit and try again (if someone else doesn't beat you to the punch). It’s also not allowed to be easy. You’ll have to have some battle take place for your character to get the orb.
A character is also not allowed to find or pursue and successfully get one on their own more than once. Everyone needs to have their chance in getting one.
Those considered the highest pls in the game will not be allowed to initially find any dragon balls. Admins will also not generally start finding dragon balls, without permission from another Admin, without reason, and/or unless there is not enough people for some reason. The reason for this is that I want to make sure atleast some of the newer and less powerful characters, that know the risk of dying, get their chance to be involved in this.
Every time a dragon ball is officially obtained, an Admin will make sure to post it for all to see, so it is known.
At the moment, the idea of who gets to post on that day to get a dragon ball is first come first serve. That means if multiple people do a post…whoever was first will be looked at for approval and get to be the one. This can be subject to change at anytime, if it does not work.
People that don’t have a dragon ball is also allowed to challenge another for a dragon ball. Infact, once everyone has a dragon ball and is seeking out the others, it will basically become a free-for all battle to obtain the others. So, as mentioned above, don’t whine or complain if your character gets killed. Also, keep in mind if other characters get pursued for their dragon balls, they must have a reason for knowing they have them on them in the first place (as stated above).
You may NOT take a Dragonball off-world, into the Afterlife, or in any other way seek to remove it from play. A person owning a Dragonball must remain on Earth for as long as they own a Dragonball. Dragon balls are not allowed to be destroyed without admin approval.
Once all seven are obtained by one…you can ask for whatever you want, but it must be reasonable. It is up to an Admin to approve this wish. If they think the wish is unreasonable or too OP, it will be refused and they can ask for something else.
Dragon Radar: A player must make a custom path to obtain a radar. Same rules apply as above. The player must have some valid reason as to the idea of how to obtain one, why to obtain one, what made them think one could possibly exist (these things don’t just jump in your lap, and you don’t just miraculously know what it is or how to use it). Use your brain or it wont be accepted. It must be at the very least 3 paragraphs, 5 sentences per. Special note: The Dragon Radar is ‘not’ allowed to be mass-produced (or any other important piece of technology that could greatly effect this game).
The Dragon Radar can be stolen, and if a fight breaks out with someone who has one, there is a chance the Radar can be broken. The admin will tell you if it was broken in battle. It will probably be judged by the intensity of the battle. People can attempt to hide the radar to prevent it from getting broken, but then there will also be a chance someone else can stumble upon it and take it.

PL Gain chart
Normal Posting:100/post
For this, people cannot post to themselves, and must interact with other people.
Quests: Determined by quest
Each quest has a pre-determined number, and how many paragraphs must be posted to get the achieved number. This cannot be changed for any reason. Cannot be interacted with various characters.
Side Quests: 100/Quest (As of new site creation) [Older characters PL will not change based on this]
Each side quest must be atleast 3 paragraphs long, and it has to be a complete quest on itself. It is something that ‘cannot’ be replied to. Cannot be interacted with various characters. If you screw this up and it's not self-contained, it will become a private topic.
Private Topic: 100/post
This is pretty much like a side quest, but a character is basically replying to him/herself. In this case, a person who does this needs to have atleast 3 paragraphs per post, otherwise they will not get the points. A private topic is a self-interaction, that cannot be interacted with other characters.
Epic Battle/Saga:200/post
Done by Admins. These are on special scheduling, given occasionally by head Admin only. Rules are determined uniquely by each saga, which will be explained at the time by the head Admin.
Mini Saga: 1.5 X each post rounded up to nearest hundred.
Done after quests. These are on special, must finish quest list and PM head Admin only. Other rules are shown on each mini-saga. Usually involves taking over planet or making your own. Though you can only be in 1 every 3 months .
Traits: Special PL can be gain by traits which again is rounded to the nearest 100.
Payment Chart
Each normal post people gain:
1 Zeni a post
For this, people cannot post to themselves, and must interact with other people.
Quests: 0 for quests.
Mini Saga- You get what you get. No variation of amount.
Epic Battle/Saga:
10 Zeni a post - In sagas as long as you accept a Government paycheck you will earn this much a post (Not including what you get paid from your rank. And as long as you are not attacking the president.
How you get paid: You get paid in Zeni once every 2 weeks based off the time you placed on your character sheet. (Which how you do that is here.)
The goto guys
Basically Brolin deals with anything relating to Character creation, Technique approval, Quest, and Topic approval.
Once you have any topic/quest approval, PM Brolin to add it to your profile. If you have a brand new character who doesn't have a profile yet, you will also need to tag the address of your character sheet to Brolin, so that he can get the proper information added to your profile.
If you have a complaint or you feel someone is breaking the rules, including from another mod/admin....then pm Beastboybrown
If there is an issue regarding Gamey that needs to be resolved, pm Clarity who personally deals with anything relating to Gamey.
If you need to speak to anyone regarding artwork, achievements, or even designs of the dbz rpg website, then once again pm Beastboybrown.
If you are interested in wanting to be a mod, Beastboy should also be the one to talk to. But keep in mind, you need to have atleast 6 months worth of active gameplay on here, without quitting or leaving on and off. If you can't show that, don't even ask.
Please keep in mind the mods and admins can be busy and pms probably wont have an immediate response. Please show patience and respect to the mods tallying up your stuff and try to remember they have a lot on their plate. You're character isn't the only one they're taking care of.
Mod/Admin Rule: (because yes....even those in charge has to follow a set of rules)
Of course mods/admins have to follow all rules above, just as everyone else does.
On top of that, if a mod/admin wants to create a new rule/change a rule....they need atleast a mod/admin majority to do so. They have the option to discuss this rule privately with other mods/admins, or post it in the general discussion area in order to gain more popularity with their idea.
If a rule coming up could greatly change or affect other people, it is highly recommended this gets posted in general chat area first before such a decision is made.
Battling
Battling is a large part of this role playing game, and a major part of interaction with other players here. Battling could be a result of your negative alignment, need for something, or just a dislike of their character. To initiate a battle you must be on the same planet with the other battler and have either challenged him/her or sneak attacked the user.
Sneak Attack?
Don't over think things, sneak attacks are exactly what they are named "Sneak Attacks". When you and a person are on the same planet and you want something of theirs, or you just want to kill them for some reason, you may sneak attack that person. Please use common sense!
Types of Battles
One on One: This is the most basic type of battling, it is player vs. player. A player will fight against another in hopes of defeating them or making them surrender. This battle still allows other players to jump in, so still always be on your highest guard, or it could turn into a handicap match as explained below.
Handicap Match (2 vs. 1): If one side is losing on a one versus one match then a second player may jump in turning it into a handicap match where the same rules still apply.
Fleeing a Battle
Fleeing from a battle can be good or bad at points, first of all you'll need a clear opportunity when the opponent is distracted. Secondly, the person's power level has to be reasonable to allow such an action (If someone at 200 PL is attempting to run from an 8000+ PL without proper distraction, it's not going to happen). This is determined by the player, unless a Mod or Admin is forced to intervene.
Winning a Battle
Battles are won when one side surrenders or dies completely. When a surrender is denied, the player has a chance to kill him/her or let them live, regardless they get full battle stats. At the end of a battle, the winner has an option of stealing items, but once you do this your alignment goes negative, and when you kill the same happens. When you die you go into the Afterlife and enter Hell or Heaven depending on your alignment and actions when you were alive. The afterlife has very excellent quests and activities to complete there, so don't quit quite yet if you have died. You only have to stay in the afterlife for one week, or longer if you want to complete more missions.
Fanfiction
If you're an eager writer who wants to write up and don't get enough from rpging, give some fanfiction a try! We have a section for that, under general discussion. It is also the one place where you can write up about cannon characters if you truly feel the need to get it out of your system. Though you get no points for it, it's a good way to have other people check out your creativity.
Keep in mind, even fanfiction can have rules. Please no detailed porn. You want to write a romance, you can....but no one hear needs to read the sloppy details.
Fusion
As most people know fusion is a move on the site. We only allow 2 people to fuse at a time for the main benefit.
If more people fuse past that they gain 1/4 of every person after that PL. 1 per person though again. If you have 2 characters only 1 can go into that fusion.
With more then 2 fusion you also gain the abilities, Traits and weakness!
Also it only take 1 person to know fusion to fuse. If a third person tries to fuse he better known fusion otherwise its an instant fail.
