POST-TIMESKIP
The wind rolled gently through the Satan City suburbs. Children ran around in their lawns as their parents performed various yard work tasks. The civilians looked at peace, especially since the thoughts of the Demon War were well behind them. Then, in a blink of an eye, something happened. From seemingly nowhere, a bolt of lightning flew through the sky and into the roof of an ordinary house, completely destroying it on impact.
Smoke rose from the point of impact, masking the remnants of the house. Some curious neighbors tried to investigate, but before they could get close enough, a roar erupted from the smoke. Suddenly, a fridge flew from the smoke and crushed one of the civilians in the area. People ran in terror, grabbing their children and running as quickly as possible from the newly emerged foe.
The smoke cleared and revealed the monster. It was a quadrupedal, dog-like beast, that had blood dripping from its mouth. Attached on its back, and from the humanoid's hip, was another creature. This one, however, was a lot more humanoid. It looked like a human, if a human's skin was entirely ripped off and only their muscles remained. The man-dog was some sort of fused creature, but not fused like Skyleo. Combined, the beast was at least 20 feet tall and probably weighed over three tons.
Sirens sounded in Satan City, warning the rest of the citizens of the new threat. Televisions around the area flipped to the local news channels, as the media were trying to warn the general public of the terror that was upon them, "This is a level five threat. I repeat. A level five threat! All citizens need to seek shelter in the lowest level of their home and hunker down until police can get the situation under control. And, oh my god!"
The reporter had been standing on bridge not too far from the drop zone of the creature, but when he panicked, the camera turned its attention towards the suburbs. The humanoid creature had its hand raised and was charging a massive attack. Its attention seemed focused on the center of town. The reporter cried out, tears streaming down his face, "Oh no! If that does what I think it will, then that means-"
He never got to finish his sentence, because the beast threw its attack into the air, arching it so it would come raining back down on the city. The cameraman kept his tool trained on the attack, ready to record the entire catastrophe on live television for all to see. The reporter dropped to the ground and covered his head, prepared to die.
As the attack plummeted towards the city, the cameraman joined his reporter on the ground, trembling in fear. Just when all hope seemed lost, the attack stopped moving. The reporter looked up and gasped, triggering the same response from the cameraman. At the base of the attack, which was just a few feet away from collision with a rooftop, was a seemingly ordinary man. He had his hands out to the sky, in which he had caught the blast with.
The cameraman scurried back to his camera and zoomed in on the man. He was wearing a blue and orange martial arts gi, had a golden halo hovering faintly above his head, and his hair was also a bright golden color. The man shouted something before his aura around him roared to life, and the attack was flung out of the Earth's atmosphere. The hero had arrived.
