After a discussion about what could possibly happen to our characters and their family lineage many generations down the line, we have decided to introduce the Far Future section of the board. The timeline of the Far Future is undetermined, though it is approximately 8 generations ahead of the present day characters, counting the present day characters. Ever wonder what your character's great-great-great-great-great grandson could be like? Here's your chance!
*Note: Far Future is meant to be a sub-board more than anything, mostly for fun and the like. It will not receive as much attention as the rest of the site because it is not the primary section for roleplaying. That being said, there will be no sagas, quests, groups (ex: Capsule Corp, Red Ribbon Army, etc), nor mini-sagas for the Far Future. Aside from that, all rules still apply. We want you to enjoy the new section, but do not neglect the other (and most important) parts of the site! If anything, we would prefer if you neglect the Far Future over the rest of the site.*
Just some general rules and notes for Far Future Threads, since there seems to be some confusion:
*No characters from the present plot are allowed to carry over into the Far Future. They can be referenced as often as you want, they can be an influential part in your Far Future character's plot, but they themselves cannot be used standalone and to push the plot of the Far Future timeline.
There are two reasons for this. The first is to prevent anybody from having an ultra powerful character. It is assumed that these Far Future threads take place anywhere from 200 to 300 years in the future, and in 200 to 300 years, a present day character can gain a significant amount of power. The second reason is to give everybody a clean slate. The Far Future is meant to be a fun, equal playing field, which cannot be possible if there are people who start off with a massive power boost over the other characters.
*The Far Future plot is set in a different timeline from the present day plot. This way, if something significant happens in the present day (which it will) that was not accounted for in the Far Future lore, it will not be made invalid. This does not, however, void the first note.
