A Tale of Armies, Parties, Car Keys and Salamis (Private)

Explosions ran throughout the city as Reku flew overhead in base form with is clothes ripped and torn. He didn’t know what Earth’s military was doing, but they had sure updated their tech. Earth’s forces had finally caught up to him and were throwing everything they had at him. A fleet of helicopters were following him while unloading everything they had. Reku’s body hurt all over as he getting sprayed with countless bullets. Four heat seeking rockets were now on his tail. He tried to outfly them, but because he was already injured and that these rockets had a lot extra speed, they made their mark on him.

As he was shot out of the air, he plummeted to the ground at high speeds. His body hit the ground and countless forces surrounded him. The event was being broadcasted world wide. Reku, the criminal wanted for the attempted murder of Skylar as well as the countless number of civilians he had attacked. Reku tried to get up, but a man wearing a heavy armored suit stomped his face in. He felt his arms get pulled back behind him and get cuffed. He felt his power drop significantly. ‘What the hell?’ He thought. An officer walked up to him, gun pointed to his face.

“Mr. Reku? You are under arrest!"

About two hours passed as Reku was being kept in the back of a vehicle. He could hear a commanding officer and another high ranking officer in the driver and passenger seats, talking.

“Well, where do we put him?”

“I don’t know, not like we can put him anywhere. He can just easily get right back out."

“Well we have to take him SOMEWHERE."

“Hmm…I have an idea."

He turned opened his channel spoke into the radio

“This is Raptor 1-2 do you copy?"

Reku heard some static followed by some noisy gibberish.


“Permission to take prisoner to Area 12."

The man in the passenger looked to his commanding officer in surprise.

“What?"

“Are you sure about this?"

“Like you said, we have to put him somewhere. At least until he can find a way to contain him."

Reku wondered what Area 12 was and what it had in store for him. He was already guessing what they would do to him. ‘Interrogation? Torture? Experimentation?’ He thought, mentally preparing himself for the worst. He continued to sit in the back, watched by two heavily armored and armed guards. They wanted to make sure there was no possibility of him escaping.

Reku squinted his eyes as the sunlight entered. The door was opened and he was pushed out by the guards next to him. He had arrived at the facility. The whole place looked very futuristic, like it belonged in the wrong era. He looked back, only to see a single metal road, because the rest was surrounded by water. He was escorted to a heavily a guarded building, already taking note of the snipers on the rooftops. ‘They sure don’t play around.’ He thought. The door slid open in front of him and a scientist stood at the entrance with two other guards. He looked very serious, wearing the stereotypical white lab coat, completed with black sunglasses and gray hair.

"Bring him in." He said.



He pushed by the guard behind him, signifying that he had to keep moving. ‘Just wait till I get out of here. I’ll teach you respect.’ Reku thought. As he walked down the hallway, he looked to his right and left. His eyes widened. He saw very enhanced weaponry being tested, it looked like they could do some real damage. He saw very peculiar extraterrestrial lifeforms being tortured experimented on, though he had never seen their kind before.

”Like what you see?" The scientist said, looking over his shoulder and noticing his expression.

“You’re insane.” Reku replied, only to be met with the butt of a gun by the guard next to him, causing blood to drip from his lips. The half-saiyan looked back at the guard with a glare, but knew he couldn’t do anything. The scientist stopped at a door before opening it, motioning for Reku to go inside.

”Many people have said so, but that’s because they don’t my true intentions.”

Reku stopped in front of him, next to the opening to the room.

“Oh really? And what might that be?”

”I’m afraid that is none of your concern.”

Reku was pushed inside with the door closing behind him, leaving him with nothing but his own thoughts.
