Below are a list of techniques you can use for your characters. If this is your first character on the site (excluding transfers), you must utilize this list. We will add more techniques to the list as we see fit, especially if there is a high demand for them.
Ki Learner: A technique that allows [Your Character] to copy the techniques of others. [Your Character] make physical contact with the person they are trying to copy and [Your Character] must have seen the technique used once already. [Your Character] cannot learn moves they already know nor can they learn custom techniques. [Your Character] must maintain physical contact for one post to fully learn the move, and the move remains in [Your Character]'s technique list for the remainder of the thread.
Mimic: A technique similar to Ki Learner; Mimic allows [Your Character] to directly copy a technique of somebody else. Unlike Ki Learner, this is a one and done type of move. After using the mimicked technique, [Your Character] must re-mimic to learn it again. [Your Character] must start charging no later than one post after their opponent. Mimic does allow for the copying of custom techniques, but it is hard to pull off since it often requires one extra post of charging than the opponent.
Hellzone Grenade: [Your Character] fires a large amount of ki blasts into the air before launching them all at an opponent at the same time. The charge time varies, but the longer the charge, the more damage and accurate the attack is.
Ki Mines: [Your Character] is able to plant ki mines wherever they would like, which explode upon impact. It takes one post to summon a mine properly.
Destructo Disc: [Your Character] creates a disc of yellow ki which is then thrown at the opponent. This disc takes one post to charge and slightly tracks the opponent, although it can be quite easy to dodge.
Dual Destructo Disc: [Your Character] creates two discs of yellow ki which are then thrown at the opponent. Combined, the discs are 3x the power of a single disc. They take two posts to charge, and while the tracking is more accurate, they are still dodgable.
Enhanced Destructo Disc: Similar to the normal destructo disc, [Your Character] creates a yellow disc of ki which is then thrown at the opponent. This, unlike the normal Destructo Disc, is then controlled by the user's ki. It is more accurate and does more damage than the normal Destructo Disc. Takes two posts to charge.
Telepathy: The abilty to speak to somebody through the mind. [Your Character] may already have a trait that can do this ('Psychoanalysis/Mind Reader), and if that is the case, do not get this technique!
Venomous Ki: [Your Character] creates a sinister ball of ki capable of poisoning the enemy. This poison leaves the opponent fatigued for a number of turns, cutting their Power Level (PL) in half for the duration of those turns. The attack can only be used once per thread. The duration increases with each extra post of charging, and the basic requirements for charging are 3 posts.
Dodonpa: [Your Character] creates a strong beam of orange ki, fired from the index finger, which is much more powerful than a standard ki wave. The Dodonpa is exclusive to the Crane School. The technique takes 2 posts to charge.
Dodon Cannon: [Your Character] creates a very strong beam of orange ki, fired from the index finger, which is much more powerful than a standard Dodonpa. The Dodon Cannon requires at least three post of charging, additional charging will increase its power. The Dodon Cannon is equivalent to three Dodonpas.
Oozaru (or any equivalent): Basically any 'big animal' form. [Your Character] becomes a big rampaging beast which increases their PL by 1.5x. While in this state, [Your Character] fights on 'instincts,' meaning they cannot control their actions. This cannot be stacked with any other transformations.
Beast Control: This technique allows [Your Character] to control their Oozaru technique. Simple as that.
Limit Break: [Your Character] powers up far beyond their maximum, creating a crackling aura around them and granting a temporary boost for a short time, at the cost of an exhausted body afterward. The user's PL is increased 2x for a single post. Cannot stack with transformations.
Four Arms Technique: [Your Character] can move their arms at such a rapid speed they appear to have four arms. This allows [Your Character] to attack two to four times more with one punch than usual, assuming the opponent does not take measures to defend against it.
Kamehameha Wave: [Your Character] fires a powerful blue beam of ki from his palms after charging the blast at his hip. 2 turns to charge. Equivalent to the power of a dodonpa.
Super Kamehameha: [Your Character] fires a more powerful blue beam of ki from his palms after charging the blast at their hip. Requires 3 charging posts, additional posts of charging increase the power of the wave. The Super Kamehameha is equal to the power of three Kamehameha Waves.
Explosive Wave: [Your Character]'s aura combusts, inflicting sudden damage to those within a few feet of the user. Extremely effective as a surprise attack. Can be used only 3 times per topic.
Solar Flare: The ability to temporarily blind an opponent mid-battle as a defensive maneuver or preparation for an attack. [Your Character] uses the power of the sun, which affects everybody within sight of this action, blinding them for 2 turns. Can be used 2 times per topic.
Blink: The ability to teleport short distances in quick bursts without getting tired. Once per turn, instantaneous, cannot be used for long ranged.
Telekinesis: Telekinesis allows [Your Character] to move relatively small objects without having to even touch them, including weapons. This technique cannot be used for moving other characters. Keep in mind, [Your Character] may already have a trait that does this exact same thing.
Instant Transmission: [Your Character] can teleport to anywhere they please. Requires three posts of charging in-battle, otherwise can be completed, well, instantly.
Survival: A temporary resistance to extreme conditions, such as intense heat and lava, frigid cold, dense underwater pressure, and even the vacuum of space. This also gives [Your Character] a strong advantage against Elemental Ki users. Can be used twice per thread, lasts for two posts each time.
Elasticity: The ability to fuse ki into [Your Character]'s limbs and stretch them like rubber without causing injury.
Immaterial: Through precise ki control, [Your Character] can actually change their physical form into pure energy. This has several applications such as passing through some physical object and making them immune to physical attacks. [Your Character], however, takes double damage from ki attacks since they are pure energy. Can be used twice per battle, lasts one post each time.
Body Size Control: [Your Character] is capable of changing their size on the spot. They can grow to giant sizes (within reason) or shrink down to the size of an ant.
Ki Learner: A technique that allows [Your Character] to copy the techniques of others. [Your Character] make physical contact with the person they are trying to copy and [Your Character] must have seen the technique used once already. [Your Character] cannot learn moves they already know nor can they learn custom techniques.
