Pico "Quantum" Alberto PL: 2,000; Indetectable, Access Denied (telepathy blocker) South City Outskirts, Rural; Earth Sunday 11:14
Pico started his day off right by helping a farmer take care of some pesky bandits who had been threatening to steal his cows. The farmer offered the boy from freshly churned butter and a jar of milk, both of which Pico had to politely turn him down. As the boy tried to fly away, and into the city, he accidentally put too much force behind his take off and wound up crashing face first into a hill about half a mile away. Quantum pulled his head out of the ground and shook out the dirt, laughing at his mess up.
He turned around, looking up at the sky. It was overcast on this day, in fact it looked like it was about to rain. Pico didn't like being a hero on a rainy day because then his costume got all wet and a damp costume was basically the worst thing ever. The boy wanted something to happen today, kind of like when he met his new friend Gummy Boy. Stopping small crimes was fun and all, but he wanted to see what else was out there. He decided to stare at the gray, cloudy sky for a few more minutes before getting back to work.
A pod fell from the sky, burning up in the atmosphere as it broke apart and the pieces flew in all directions. So much for having a ship to keep. A humanoid figure would be seen spiraling out of control and crash into the ground. The force would cause the ground shake slightly, leaving a green alien lying in the dirt. It was a member of the namekian race, though it seems like he was still far from home. A moment would pass before he would slowly get up. He had bruises all over his body, clearly formed from prior battles. If one could see his facial expression, they would notice that he was very confused.
His sky watching paid off. Pico witnessed a faulty Saiyan pod burn up in the clouds, ejecting its single passenger, who went flying down into the dirt below. The boy got to his feet, able to see the point of impact from his spot on the hill, "Huh," Is all he said before taking off into the air, trying to get a better look at this alien life form that had just arrived.
The dust from the Namekian's crash had already settled as the slug man got to his feet. Pico had never seen anything like this guy before. He had two antennae, green wrinkly skin, and literally no hair anywhere on his visible body. He did seem injured though, but not in the way he probably should have been after being ejected at such a high speed. Quantum floated down to the creature, waving his hand in greeting.
"Hi there totally awesome alien man! I am Quantum of Earth! Who are you and why are you here?" The boy asked, trying to sound as friendly as he could. He wanted to make sure this being was treated like any other person would be. The last thing Pico wanted was to deal with one of those aliens who arrived for world domination, because those guys are stinkers!
Coric was caught off guard as a man greeted him, wearing some kind of weird outfit. Earth? Oh man, looks like I went the wrong way. And I lost my ship too. He thought. It looked by going back to Namek would be a lot harder than he thought. ”Oh, hi. I was trying to get to Planet Namek, but I guess I kind of went the wrong way." He replied, chuckling a bit before continuing. "My name is Coric, I’m a namekian." He dusted himself as he introduced himself. Whoever this person was, they seemed friendly.
Pico's eyes widened in surprise when the Namekian explained who he was and where he was headed, "I've heard about Namekians! In astronomy class we were learning about extraterrestrials and my teacher said the Namekians are literal slug people," He looked Coric up and down, smiling all the while, "But by the looks of it, you barely resemble a slug! Besides your antennae, which doesn't make sense since a lot of other creatures also have those sensory devices," The boy gasped, thinking of an odd possibility, "Wait, you don't secrete gross slime when you move do you?"
Coric mentioned how he took a wrong turn and ended up on Earth instead of Namek, which must have been a pretty wrong turn, "What happened to your spaceship? Why did it fall apart like that? Are you okay?" Quantum asked, looking around the grassy field they were standing in. There was some rubble from the decomposing Saiyan pod, but the rest of it was just gone, probably somewhere in the grassland. He hoped it hadn't fallen on somebody's farmland because that would be terrible.
The poor namekian was hardly able to keep track of what Quantum was saying. So many questions! He thought. Coric took a breath, trying to go over each answer in his mind and confirming that it was the correct one. ”Ok so, I don’t let loose weird slime stuff. That’s gross. Second, I guess the pod burned up in the atmosphere the way down and couldn’t handle the velocity, I don’t know. The saiyans don’t take very good care of their stuff. Third, everything hurts." He replied. He had never seen a human before, but they didn’t look too different from the saiyans. The only real difference was that one had a tail and the other didn’t. It was weird. He wondered if the two species were somehow related.
"No way," Pico audibly said, fascinated by everything Coric had to say, "You got here in a Saiyan pod?! That's so cool!" His mind was going haywire, trying to think of all the possibilities, but he focused back on the Namek when the plant creature explained his pain.
Quantum looked around, trying to think of what to do, "Oh, uh, do you need like a doctor or something? I probably would after a spill like that!" He wanted to know more about Namekians, especially after that conversation he had with Tycho. Right now, Majins were at the top of his cool charts, but this new guy could change all of that, "I dunno if our doctors know how to operate on a Namekian, but they can get you some medicine or something. Maybe," Pico realized Earth medicines probably wouldn't work either, but it was worth a shot probably.
His thoughts were scrambled because part of him wanted to help but the other part wanted to know more about the alien.
