Shadic, perched atop a mountain North of North City, looked down upon the wreckage with disgust. The war was over, but Earth was still feeling the affects of it still. A lot of details had yet to make themselves clear about the war, including the motive of the Babylonians, but the hybrid knew full well his team would gather information faster than the government, all thanks to Presta and her mental wizardry.
Regardless of motive, taking it out on thousands, if not millions, of innocents was just wrong. Shadic did not think he could ever forgive anybody who coordinated such an attack, until he went hand-to-hand with his closest friend. A lot of people would have, and did, take on a new view of the Saiyan King after his treachery against his home planet, but Shadic held strong. His loyalty to his friends was almost as strong as his loyalty to Earth, which was a dangerous way for a hero to live.
In Shadic's mind, Reku was fixable. Bad influences swayed him to do bad things, clearly, but his fellow hybrid was not always an evildoer. Back in their heyday, Shadic and Reku were an unstoppable force on the side of good. If they could get back to that point, Earth would never be in a state of trouble again.
Shadic sighed, knowing he would have a lot of work to do in order to get to that point, and he was already swamped with work as it was. In his heavy hoodie, thick gloves, hiking boots, snow goggles, warm ski mask, and baggy snowpants, Shadic rose to his feet to continue his solo training. He had been working on a few new techniques that would better help him defend the planet from another invasion.
The hybrid whistled loudly, before dropping into a crouch and focusing his energy. Suddenly, from the thick snow that fell upon the mountain, his own hammer came flying in with vicious intent. The hybrid steeled his nerves and used his own aura to deflect the power of the hammer into the side of another mountain. Shadic smiled, pleased with his work. Into the snow, he shouted, "Great throw decoy! That technique is almost perfect, which means it deserves a perfect name. I'm thinking Hiraishin," Shadic shrugged to himself, unsure why he thought that was a good name for it, "We'll come back to that one tomorrow. Rest well, me,"
The howling wind disguised the poof of the decoy, who faded away into nothingness, leaving the hybrid alone in his winter wonderland. Training techniques in the freezing cold was a great way to work on concentration and focus, which Shadic always appreciated.
