upon getting out of the hollowed mountain range, he decided to try flying, and found to his delight that its safe to do so. he sheathed his sword and fastened his shield on his back, and began flying towards the mainland, curious at to what's changed in all this time. afterall the field only covers the hollowed mountains, so everything outside it likely went on ahead of the place. so he landed at a beach, and began walking. his eyes were filled with determination and the sun...the sun felt so real outside Lordroth...it was wonderful! he actually felt...alive. Quin got out of the beach and found a trail, one that would lead to west city. though it was gonna be a long journey there. he gazed upon the forest ahead of him, along with the grasslands that he would be walking through. the trail went through the grasslands and into the forest, so that is the way he decided to begin heading to.
"Tis land...perhaps it shall help me obtain my original memories..." he muttered as he began walking on the trail in the grasslands.

Panic. That's all Skylar felt. The last thing she remembered was being decimated on a planet far from Earth, her comrades dropping like flies. How'd she get here, she doesn't remember... everything was still hazy. What was she even doing again...? Oh right, ESCAPE! Skylar only recently yanked herself out of the hospital bed she was laying on -- or should I say strapped to. Then broke through the clearly locked door into a dimly lit hallway with white sterile looking walls and a tiled floor. The damp air made her sure that she was some where underground. She felt so vulnerable... she didn't even really have much clothes on, just a simple hospital gown. Skylar kept running around the maze-like underground facility all the while questioning how she even got there.
Suddenly she heard voices approach. 'Fuck.' Was all she could think. Quickly she extended her claws which she noticed were filed down to blunts. 'Double fuck!' She scurried up the wall and removed a ceiling tile and climbed into the space it provided then replaced the tile. She didn't recognize the voices of the people but she did overhear that one was going on a lunch break. It was female. She crawled along in the damp in between til she heard running water and a lone woman humming. Suddenly she dropped down onto the woman and covered her mouth so she couldn't scream. 'Hmm...' she pondered as she realized that she was the woman's hight, 'I grew taller...? How long was I out for?'
"Where did you put my clothes, my SWORD!?" Sky hissed into the woman's ear.
"I-I... you're awake??? I-I can show you where we store the subj...I mean patients' belongings..." mumbled the teary-eyed and terrified woman. She looked more like a scientist than a doctor if Skylar had to be frank. So she got her clothes back, although they seemed to be more form fitting that she remembered. And, while she was pillaging the stacks of sterile baggaging for her priceless sword given to her now long ago by a certain Wildhero, ber hostage started yelling for help! "Stupid woman, keep your mouth shut would you please! I don't want any trouble but I'm leaving whether you like it or not!" Sky shouted back at her still unable to find her creepy onyx sword. Suddenly she felt pain in her arm, they shot her! Skylar cursed herself for not being immune to bullets. Unlike her many super powered friends she was still weak after all these years and while it didn't go straight through her arm, the bullet would probably leave a bruise later. She gave up looking for her sword convinced she'd sense it if it were there. She turned around to face the at least five guards and scientist. One was yelling into a walkie-talkie for backup. Skylar panicked! What if they called up someone like White to deal with her! No, she didn't want to die AGAIN! She powered up and burst through the ceiling and after a surprisingly long time she burst out into a meadow of wild flowers, chest heaving. Not from exaustion but from panic. What can she do now!? Where even was she? And, most importantly, what the hell was going on?!
With all this panic and terror she dropped from the air like a seagull hit with a rock and fainted in a bed of beautifully bright poppies.
as Quin walked, he noticed a girl, laying on the ground...where flowers were growing. he walked over there, and got on his knee, he looked closely and noticed she had fainted or fallen asleep, then he noticed a growing bruise, she'd been hit? he couldn't exactly tell if his face had become fully lifelike yet so he kept the helmet on just in case...no need to cause the girl panic if his face did in fact look like a man who had died some time ago, ah the pains an undead must bear. he shook her arm slightly in an attempt to wake her up for the lack of things he could think of to do so properly. if she wakes up he would ask "Art thee alright?". if she doesn't wake he'll just sit down with his legs crossed. he noticed her features but decided not to question it. at least it wasn't like the horrors he had witnessed in the hollowed mountains...he couldn't really think of a good word to describe it but it at least did not make him uncomfortable, so there's that right? still, he decided to stay on guard just in case. what he went through in Lordroth would indeed leave him quite on guard for some time. if she wakes up on her own, then he'd ask "who art thou?" he is afterall, an ancient knight. though considering the cloths the girl is wearing he wonders if he'll be able to adapt to the times...

(OOC: Sky doesn't know too much about her own Hitokami people because unlike sayains there are far fewer hitokami and she hasn't directly ever spoken to one so she doesn't address herself as such)
Skylar vaguely felt someone or something jostle her and then heard what sounded like a man speaking nearby. With her acute ears it was hard to miss the clank of metal armor as who ever it was sat down. In Sky's semi-conscious mind, she couldn't quite figure out what was happening. Suddenly she flipped over using her hands as pillows bellowing,
"Just five more minutes mom!"
She wrinkled her nose though suspicious of the smell of poppies she swore she could smell something cold and dead... like a thousand year old corpse. Also why was she sleeping on the grass instead of a bed...? She no longer lived in the woods after all. With all this questioning Skylar's mind and body started to wake up. Eventually she was awake enough to register the armored person's second question.
It took a second for Skylar to fully realize that she wasn't alone, then bolted upright reaching for the sword that she no longer bore. She quickly got into a fighting stance instead.
"Gah, I should be asking who are you, metal man! I-I'm Skylar, sayain warrior and friend to wolves and humans alike! Have you come to drag me back into that hole!?" She spouted stupidly.
Quin watched as the girl got up, and started talking, the now named Skylar began introducing herself as a friend to wolves and humans, he's not exactly sure about what hole she's talking about, though as she got up before she introduced herself she said something about a mother? it was odd to him really, he...doesn't exactly remember any of his family...seeing as that was an age long past. "I art Quin of Lordroth. I know not of tis hole thy speak of, I hath only just arrived here at tis mainland." he saw no point in informing her that he is an undead, afterall, it is a fact that is likely to disturb people out here in the world outside of the hollowed mountains of Lordroth. friend of wolves....it is interesting to meet one like that, then again, a canine is man's best friend so it is not surprise to him.
he dared not to show his face, in fear that he may reveal his appearance as looking like a corpse. he had no wishes to scare anyone. though unknown to him his face had become quite lifelike again, even if there were a few cuts here and there...

Skylar relaxed her stance, raised her ears and cocked her head in a questioning manner. "Sir, I don't mean to be rude but why do you talk so weird? And I'm really sorry but I've never heard of this... Lordroth place."
Sky casually sat down on the soft grass and took a good look at her knightly looking companion. He looked very out of place, almost as if he were from an entirely different era. She still didn't completely trust the guy but he wasn't trying to murder her and he had no clue what hole she was talking about. The hair on her neck stood up as she turned around and looked back at where she burst out of the facility about half a mile behind her. Normal humans probably could not perceive the slight rubble amoung the beautiful scenery but her precision sight allowed her to do so. She turned back to Quin and scratched her head.
"Uh... I have a feeling you aren't the best person to ask but um... any idea as to what the date is...? I have a feeling I might have been out for more than a couple weeks... and er sorry for being so uh... straight forward earlier, I'm not much for manners, teehee."
Sky giggled a little bit despite the growing anxiety in the pit of her stomach... she had a suspicion that it had been a long time since she'd last saw the sun. Or any sun for that matter.
Quin wasn't surprised that she hadn't heard of Lordroth...though he did take note that the girl talks in a manner he's unfamiliar with. he decided to look around slightly for the hole she spoke of out of curiosity, and found a slight dent in the ground, he decided it was probably nothing so he looked back at her. "I hath no idea, I'm afraid that I hath only just gotten out of the place thee calls the hollowed mountain range, just north of what thee calls Yunzabit heights." he stated this in a somber tone. "tis the first time I hath felt the sun feel so warm...so real." he whispered that last sentence, not really expecting her to hear him nor understand, but right now, to be out of the hollowed mountain region was a huge relief to him. still though if she did hear him its likely that she may be a bit disturbed by this.
he honestly had no idea how modern society worked, but...he is finding himself somewhat excited to find out, though he does feel slightly afraid, its not gonna stop him from learning. he stood and got to the trail, gesturing her to follow. the trail looked paved in a modern fashion. either way it led into the forest. "as for how I talk, I'm afraid that to me, thee also speaks oddly." though the way he said this particular statement, well, he actually had an amused tone to it. as if he'd expected her to ask that, ah the sympathies here and there, but he could not allow himself to speak of the curse he bears.

Skylar shrugged, "That's okay, I had a feeling that you wouldn't know... uh no offence of course. Though I'll have you know that I have no clue where any of those places you mentioned are. In time you'll find I'm not the most worldy person, ha. I spent most of my childhood in a city before... well stuff happened."
Sky thought it was kind of weird how Quin had almost the exact same thought as her when concerning the sun... could he perhaps have a similar plight as her? She didn't know for sure, but Skylar felt like there was more to Quin than met the eye. Especially because he whispered that part as if he was trying to hide it from her... which of course was impossible as they stood so close. Well sat, but still. Then Quin stood up and gestured to the road ahead which she did not notice at first. The man seemed amused now, well at least he wasn't all metal after all. She got up and followed him to the wooded path, I mean she didn't have anything better to do anyways and besides she swore she could hear attack helicopters way way in the distance. They were probably after her, 'Sigh.' Was all she could think.
"Well yeah, I guess so, I probably sound weird lol. So! Where are we headed? Since clearly I've decided to come with you my lord!" She said with much charisma with a frilly bow.
'lord?' he thought to himself...he never considered himself a lord, so that was a new one to him. he could see objects flying towards them really, really far in the distance, though they were kinda dots right now...he shrugged "following tis trail." he gestured to the trail that led into a forest, the forest would of course provide cover but the trail would eventually lead them out of the forest...so the guys after the girl would likely end up waiting outside the forest at the other end of the trail. he began moving to the trail and walking along it into the forest. in response to the fact she doesn't know of the places he mentioned. "tis okay, for I hope I may never hath to return." he muttered quietly in a bitter tone, no longer as amused but he was trying to stay amused as it was an odd, yet nice feeling to him. once in the forest part of the trail his eyes glanced about, scanning for animals, but at he same time trying to sense if there were any threats to him....paranoia gained from Lordroth had kicked in.
by the time both of them get into the forest and out of sight, the helicopters would have just gotten to the grasslands they had left. the copters will then notice the trail leading into the forest and look for other end of the forest in which the trail comes out of the forest at...

Skylar picked up the slight anxiousness of her companion and started scanning the woods for predators as well. She deemed her companion to be of the... eccentric side, but he seemed to be good at heart. Perhaps he was merely a wayward vagabond in search of a place to keep.
"Wait. So... you said you came from this Lordroth place but, you never want to return? But, like, isn't that your home? Hmm... though, I guess uh, sometimes home isn't always what someone needs. "
Skylar thought about her adoptive home and how THAT turned out. She sighed once again. She loved her brother and all but their step-father could go eat a brick for all she cared. BUT, she did enjoy going back to East city once in a while. She looked around ignoring the sound of helecopters and checked where the sun was filtering through the trees from. It came from the East. They were heading towards the west.
"Can you fly too? Or do you just enjoy a nice stroll? I mean it IS a beautiful day outside I suppose."
