Reku stood on the edge of a cliff with his arms crossed, looking out into the distance. The calm wind gently moved the grass and his hair behind him. He took it all in, inhaling deeply before letting out a long exhale. The air felt refreshing in this serene landscape. Reku was hiding his energy, not wanting to be bothered. For once, he wanted a calm and peaceful day. He was tired of the constant battles and instead wanted to look back at his past experiences and wonder how to move forward.

With a cliff behind him, Tadeo angrily and furiously dashed from tree to tree. He'd felt as if he'd grown weaker, the time he spent not being on the field. Training with Christel just wasn't enough anymore. He needed something more. Something great. Each tree he passed by, he jammed a fist into, or a foot. Kicking, jabbing, and punching the trees, Tadeo tried this as a way to train. He was working on speed and strength. He thought this might work for him. Christel knew he wasn't getting the results he wanted just by training with her, but he didn't care. As much as Tadeo wanted Christel to get stronger, he knew he himself would have to get stronger, too. After jamming his feet and fists into a long series of trees, he turned and looked at all he did, huffing and puffing. He wasn't satisfied with the results, however, and this only made him even more angry. Channeling his Ki, and his "anti-fire" energy, Tadeo made a vortex 10 meters in radius, burning all that was around him within that 10 meters. Everything around him turned to ash, and he'd be left standing in the midst of it, breathing heavily and staying angry.

Reku felt a rumble and felt a surge of ki nearby. He looked in the direction of it, seeing a large vortex of energy. It felt strangely familiar, as if it he had met them before. He sighed, knowing that he had to check it out even though he preferred relaxation. Keeping his own energy hidden, he flew towards the vortex at high speeds. He stopped in the air, looking down at the boy who he could only assume used the attack. He was surrounded by the destruction of the forest and Reku cautiously lowered himself to the ground. It was then that he realized who the boy was. “What the? Tadeo?"

Breathing heavily, Tadeo looked behind him, slowly, then above him. There, he could see a formidable half-Saiyan, one that he remembered from a long time ago. Memories flooded back into his mind as he looked up at his long-lost comrade. A very scary person, indeed, but there was still a sense of comfort the full-blooded Saiyan felt. Eyes still angry, and the fire around him dancing to a cease, Tadeo breathed out his words.
"Hey...Reku...long time no see."
The orphaned Saiyan relaxed. The flames finally sputtered out and Tadeo completely turned his attention to his friend and former ally. The memories of BoB and other close battles, with that one Changeling that no one remembers and that one Majin that Tadeo remembers all too well (but not how he got away). Floating up to Reku's position, Tadeo kept his arms at his sides, and relaxed his breathing.
"Didn't expect to see you here. Really, I didn't. I mean, like, trees and nature and stuff? I honestly would expect to see you in the wastelands or a desolated city. Not saying you'd decimate a city or something. I should probably shut up. Uhh, so what're you doing here?"

Reku shook his head in disappointment, as he had expected Tadeo to be so much better than when he last saw him. “Let me stop you right there. First of all, you were training on trees? I expected a lot more from here. Your energy is pathetic. Your little outburst was mere child’s play." He said mercilessly. “What were you doing this whole time? Lying around? Second of all, while what I’m doing here is none of concern, I was trying to get some rest. It’s been a rough week." He added. Reku moved around him in circles, sizing him up to see if he even improved at all. He had expected Tadeo to at least have had ascended beyond a Super Saiyan like he and his friends had by now.

"Wow, just rub some salt all over that wound. Listen, you don't know what I've been through, this past year. I finally found out who killed my family, but I'm not even strong enough to take down one of his lackeys. Not only that, but I died, too. That was something. And to top it all off, I had to worry about getting Christel stronger so she could at least defend herself against the one guy who single handedly ended my family. So, if that's not enough for ya, then I dunno what is."
Tadeo clenched his fist in anger. He knew he hadn't gotten stronger lately; this really ate away at him. More than anything, he wanted to ascend. He knew that there was something stronger than just a regular old Super Saiyan. While he'd finally been able to achieve it, he still needed to go beyond it. It's one of the only things that'll help him get to Tuksen's level. The orphaned Saiyan looked to his superior, fury still in his eyes.
"So, what? You just here to criticize my strength? And how I've basically hit a drywall? Betcha that'll definitely get us both somewhere, huh?"

“Cry me a river." Reku replied, not seeming to care about Tadeo’s problems. While Tadeo kept talking, he simply ignored him, thinking. ”Alright. Since this is just too sad, I feel obligated to help you out. I’m going to train you." He said, but almost as if it was a command. He backed up from Tadeo before getting into a battle stance. ”We’re going to spar, but I’m going to teach you how to fight for long periods of time, even when you’re so tired you can barely move.” He added. While Reku was confident Tadeo should know how to do this already, he needed to see how long he could go on. He was using this battle as a check up on all of his abilities. ”Therefore, I’m going to make a deal with you. If you can push me to Super Saiyan, we’ll stop. Understood?" He asked, making sure the saiyan teen knew his conditions. He didn’t want to show him how powerful he had gotten, in order to keep Tadeo’s confidence up. Last thing Reku was for him to back out before they even started, since one’s mental state usually effects his or her battle performance.

Tadeo only got angrier, thanks to Reku's "not-giving-a-shit" attitude, which was actually expected from the Saiyan Hybrid. Listening in on what Reku was adding, the pure-blooded Saiyan couldn't help but get in a slightly better mood, after hearing about sparring. It was THE perfect opportunity: a merciless warrior that's practically the same race as Tadeo, who's a Super Saiyan, and very strong, who's basically offering, or commanding, Tadeo to train with him. He watched the Hybrid back up before getting in a fighting position. Tadeo sighed, somewhat in relief.
"All right, deal. Make you go Super Saiyan, before I die from exhaustion, or something. Gotcha."
Tadeo got in a fighting position, as well, thinking to himself. His face became serious again.
I know damn well this guy probably ascended beyond Super Saiyan, since the last time we met. How far beyond, I don't know, but I'm damn sure he did it. Hopefully, me as a Super Saiyan will be enough to push him back into that wall, and force him to go Super. I should probably start off slow.
Tadeo was still angry about what Reku had been dishing out to him before, but he didn't show it. The thing that was pressing him the most at this point was being able to push his formidable training partner into becoming a Super Saiyan.
Let's get started.
At the top of his speed, Tadeo dashed forward to Reku. All the while, he charged a blue-green Ki into his right hand, and thrust it forward, launching a Lucero at the Saiyan Hybrid.
"Lucero!"
Immediately afterwards, Tadeo would blink above Reku, summoning his Ki Weapon, Defiance. He'd then launch two quick kicks to Reku's face, before spinning and slashing at him with Defiance. After all this, whether or not the full combo would hit, and if he remained uninterrupted throughout the whole barrage, Tadeo would back away and prepare from an onslaught from Reku.

Reku continued to stand as Tadeo rushed at him at full speed with a blue-greenish ki in his right hand. Easily able to follow his movements, he put his right hand up before catching the blast and crushing it. He sensed Tadeo’s energy reappear above him almost instantaneously receiving two kicks in the face. He wanted to see how powerful Tadeo was physically to get an idea of what he was dealing with. The force pushed his head back, but his body didn’t move much, if at all. Seeing his green haired opponent charge forward with his ki sword, Reku didn’t move. As the sword came in, Reku put his hand up, allowing it shatter like glass upon hitting his skin. He would follow through his a counter with his other hand, using an open palm strike at the teen’s chest to push him back a few meters away from him.

Should this be successful, Reku would simply glare at Tadeo. He’d let a few seconds of silence pass before using the blink technique, reappearing right in front of the saiyan and launched a powerful punch at his gut. The force was powerful enough to knock the wind out of him if it landed.

“I hope that was a warm up."

Tadeo watched as his attacks were practically for naught, as the Saiyan Hybrid took all his blows. His foresight suddenly went off, and Tadeo braced for impact as Reku sent an open palm strike to his chest. He was sent back a bit, and Tadeo sent himself back a little bit more, floating in the air. He could feel the impact on that blow, and Tadeo didn't like it. Suddenly, his foresight went off again, and his eyes widened. He saw that there was possibly no way for him to avoid this attack Reku was about to launch his way, so quickly, he used his Firestorm technique, sending out black fire all around him within a 5 meter radius. Hopefully, this would cause Reku to back away before landing the blow on him. If this succeeded in stopping Reku, Tadeo would wipe a bit of sweat coming down the left side of his face. If not, then he'd just wait until he recovered, then do all that. He'd sigh a bit, and redirect his attention to Reku.
"Did that warm ya up a bit?"

Breathing in once, and then exhaling, Tadeo would channel his Ki. He began charging it and groaning. As his Ki raised, so did his power level. His hair started changing color, and so did his eyes and Ki. Suddenly, with one loud yell, Tadeo spiked his Ki and transformed into a Super Saiyan. He exhaled again and cracked his knuckles.
"Okay, I obviously shouldn't start off slow, here. I don't think I got that luxury."
With a serious face, Tadeo balled up his fists again.
"Guess I'm done taking it easy now."
With a sudden burst of speed, Tadeo would close in on Reku. He'd immediately follow up with two sharp jabs straight to Reku's face, followed by a flaming fist (literally) to his gut. If these landed, Tadeo would grab Reku's face, and fire a Lucero right at it, hoping to put a little distance between the two.
"Lucero!"
