Shadic was well aware of the fact that Kane could, at any moment, alter his flight pattern and try another plan of attack, but for a moment his strategy was working. The big knucklehead was actually unable to stop him, being finessed left and right. All the while, Shadic was thinking, 'Where are you Reku, where are you Reku, where are you Reku?' Stopping and trying to fight would have been like running face first into an oncoming train, so he had to keep moving.
Maybe the circle thing wasn't the best idea. Probably would have been beneficial to do some squares or triangles or something else with corners and various escape routes. As Shadic made his rounds, he realized Kane was no longer behind him. Instead, the beast managed to cut him off and simply swung his fist right at the face of the crafty hybrid. Upon impact, Shadic lost his bearings. Time almost froze. He swore he shifted across time and space itself, rainbows and stars filling the daytime sky as he was faced with the extreme pain. Shadic not only was hit by Kane's fist but was also carried along the path of the fist downwards and into the ground. Once he hit the ground, he created a sizeable crater and knocked up a good bit of dust, too. It did not help that Kane landed right on top of him, pinning him on the ground. It amazed him that even with two people on his side it felt like he was having a 1 on 1 battle. A battle which would soon be over if those allies didn't do something quick.
Azuki glared back at Reku after he made his comment, as she had been trying to think of ways to help the whole time. "I may be an ass, but I'm not a stupid ass. You and I both saw that thing slap my fireball away like it was an ordinary ki blast. I'm strategizing, something you may want to try some time." She paused, turning back to the onslaught waiting to happen before she was hit with a realization. Azuki once again glared at Reku and shouted, "And what're you doing right now? Go help him! I didn't give up one of my perfectly good senzu beans for nothing!" She wanted to do more, she really did, but there was basically nothing she could do. Unlike the two hybrids she was tagging along with, Azuki could not transform. Getting hit by Kane would probably instantly vaporize her, literally, and that wouldn't be a fun way to go out.
