it had been three days since James and Razor Force become government jurisdiction. Five hours ago, James was given his first assignment by the governments of the world. The word on the street was, the Red Ribbon army was trying to take advantage of the chaos from the various terrorist attacks, and re-establish itself. Jay's job was to scan the ruins of south city, looking for anything out of the ordinary. If something was out of the ordinary, he would then have to investigate it. So, there he was flying through the dark night sky above the dead city. "Red Ribbon... It's been some time since I've had to deal with those guys..."
Jay was dressed in Razor Force combat armor, a red cape (Representing his commander status), and a green scouter. He tapped the scouter, causing it to light up and begin scanning the area. Though he couldn't detect any power levels, he did manage to spot something unusual. It appeared to be an entrance, to some sort of under ground bunker. He descended to the ground, and within moments Jay's clothing changed into an undershirt and jacket (as seen on my avatar). He then began stretching about fifty feet from the entrance of the bunker.
Not a particularly far ways away, a few hundred feet at the furthest, a manhole opens up. Well, opens up is probably the wrong term, more like it flew out of the ground as though a literal explosion had rocked the ground out from under it, followed by a particularly long stream of swearing as a disheveled figure without a severely broken right hand managed to crawl out of the newly created hole.
"Stupid city council, letting the manholes in the slums get all rusted up and warped." But she paused as she realized that not only was there only one person around, but the whole city block was dilapidated as though it hadn't been used in a while. "Wait a second, when the hell did all this happen, this was just a normal city block the last time I was here... Whenever that was." She asked the strange person about this because she had a suspicion that he was behind this.
James had finished stretching, and was about to run in and storm the Red Ribbon Army's bunker when the ground suddenly shook and the loud sound of a manhole cover exploding could be heard. James grit his teeth "Damn! They know I'm here, my cover is blown." James prepared for some sort of android or Bio warrior to crawl out of the sewer and attack him, but all he saw was a blonde haired girl. James gave out a bit of a sigh, and heard the question she had asked. "You don't know what happened here? There was a terrorist attack recently... I have a theory that who ever is in that bunker is responsible." though he didn't touch his scouter, it suddenly lit up and focused in on the girl. Apparently, she had a decent power level. Even so, it didn't exactly explain why she was here. James decided to ask her a question "I see you have a decent power level. Care to tell me what your doing here yourself?" James was quite interested, to see what her response would be...
"I used to live in the area I have no idea how long ago. I was coming back to see if Hoboes stole my stuff since then. Her hand was moving slightly, as though it were at hyper speed, and the serious damage from shattering against the Manhole cover were already patching up in front of Jame's eyes. "Of course, if there was a terrorist attack particularly recently than they might not have had a chance since they hauled ass out of here."
"Also, I have no idea what you're talking about with 'Power Levels' or anything like that, so maybe explain this whole situation while I finish healing up and getting my whole head around this situation."
James could see this girl was clueless as to her own abilities, it was clear she had a decent amount of power, but that meant nothing if she couldn't use it. She also mentioned that she use to live here, perhaps she had gained her abilities through unconventional means as he did. Either way, the attack had happened around two weeks ago and Jay didn't feel safe leaving a girl who couldn't use her power alone. He began to explain and requested "Your power level is a representation of your internal energy. This device on my eye can see power levels, and it almost never lies. Look, its not safe here, and you can't use your energy. The people inside this bunker may be gone, but there are much darker things than people around. Just follow me, and try not to get us killed." Jay then walked over to the bunker entrance and opened the door, it was pitch black inside, but the sound of machinery could be heard.
"I don't know anything about internal energy or anything like that, but I always heard some stories about all the people with strength that could blow up cities or some shit like that having trained in special martial arts for their entire life or some bullshit, and about the limits of my experience in that field has been getting really drunk and getting into bar fights. Also, my hand is going to be useless for at least a few more seconds, and I'm basically fast forwarding that as hard as I can."
As she took a moment to really look around, while everything looked like shit, she did basically recognize the place, even though it felt like a life time ago.
"But hey, why would Capsule Corp be doing terrorist attacks anyway?"
James could see this girl knew of her powers, but did not understand them. Then she mentioned Capsule Corp. being behind the attack, "Well, Capsule Corp. wasn't responsible for this attack. It was a Bio-Android named Terium I believe. Rumors say the Red Ribbon Army decided to take over the town after that killer android walked through. If I had to make a guess, they are hiding inside this bunker..." James decided if the girl couldn't defend herself from energy attacks, and with that torn up arm, she would need some armor. Jay pointed his finger at the girl, and a small laser beam fired from it. Once it hit, her clothing would be transformed into Saiyan battle armor. "That will protect you if anyone decides to attack us..." James said as he fully opened the bunker door, reveling a long hallway with a staircase leading down at the end.
And, with a few sickening pops of bone setting itself back into place, Holly's hand had finished it's months long process of recovering in a matter of minutes, and now, with the skin tight Saiyan Armor on, it was a lot more clear that there was a jagged shape sticking out of her chest poking at the armor.
"What the hell kind of fancy ass technolgy is that?" Clearly, she had been poor, as though traveling through the sewer wasn't a prime indicator of that. "Also, this might be just me, but is it weird that I'm pretty sure this place had an elevator the last time I was in this area for... Personal reasons."
James saw that the girl now had proper armor for the battles ahead, and was pretty much ready to storm the building. He also noticed that the girl could heal herself, meaning she may have some skill with energy after all. Jay opened his left hand, and a small ball of glowing energy appeared hovering above it. "This will light the way for us, I suggest you follow me. Unless your would rather run into some sort of killer android without me." Jay explained as he began to slowly walk into the bunker. Inside was nothing special, but there was something on the ground. James keeled down to get a better look, it was a piece of red cloth with two R's on it. The signature bandana of the Red Ribbon army. From this clue, they had obviously been here, or were here...
James stood up and tossed the bandana towards the girl, "If you hear anyone, put it on. They'll think your one of them." he said with a look of seriousness.
"Well that would be weird, putting on a disguise as soon as you know for a fact that someone's coming" she said, just going ahead and putting on the Bandana before hand.
"Also, didn't you say that there weren't any humans left in this place?" She finished putting on the Bandana, having tried for a second to put it on her head before electing to just use it as a Neckerchief. "So are these saturday morning cartoon kinds of robots that just look for logos and the like when searching for intruders, and if it is than why aren't you wearing a bandana of the same sort?"
Finished with overthinking things, she dialed time down as slow as she could make it and scouted a bit ahead, and found a room with 4 branching paths.
She quickly made her way back, and got to where she had been standing before resuming time. Depending on how much attention James was paying to her, he would have seen it happen in a flash.
