Skylar's POV
Skylar huffed and and crossed her arms, she frowned. Okay, maybe she was a little envious of her friend, he got to do cool stuff all the time and he was in the limelight. Her? Not so much... anymore that is... she used to do things, meet people in the strangest of circumstances, heck she used to be the leader of such an influential alliance that the current kami wanted her six feet under.
"Yeah, maybe I was... I don't really have a job anymore or hobby, I just kinda... drift, I guess. There was nothing better to do at the time" she mumbled, "Besides, I don't even know who this 'Shadic' guy is... but for what it's worth, that sounds pretty neat... though I'm tempted to ask why you stole it, but it's none of my business I guess."
Sky cocked her head a little, questioning like a dog might. If Tadeo wasn't talking about that time, then what did he mean? Unless he was being sarcastic, that might have also been the case, she was unsure. But, when her friend said that she was lying, she was truly confused, she was sure the sky was...
"Oh, would ya look at that, it's black now... weird." She said with mild interest, "But, it was definitely red earlier and I have a feeling something's going on. Normally demons and saiyans don't collectively rain from the sky. Maybe one or the other, but never both at the same time."
The wolf-girl wasn't sure if Tadeo could hear her over the shout of battle so she just watched on once again, laying back, floating in the air. If any came too close, she'd shoot them with her fancy new beam attack. By no means was she in a relaxed state of mind, but she did want to be comfortable for the show. She was quite perplexed as to what was going on, unlike many others, she wasn't informed about the war and therefore had no clue once so ever that the same thing was going on in other cities, some, in a worse way than her own. Sky watched as Tadeo powered up into his super saiyan form, and she got a chill down her spine, ah what an awesome but traumatizing power. She felt bad for those on the other end of Tadeo's attacks, she knew how it felt first hand.
When Tadeo began drifting away, she powered up, blue and green aura surrounding her as she flew to catch up with him. Skylar cringed at Tadeo's brutality but did not complain. She saw the familiar way he concentrated as if he were to make one of his "gates".
"Hey," she started "Wait up, where are you going... also what even is going on...?" She said nervous about what she thought his answer may be.

Tobias's POV
Tobias cussed at himself, he should have ran when he could, the noise he made cause a hord of the alien, monkey men to pinpoint his location. "Holy mother of sweet Jesus..." Tobi heard his commander say, finally deciding to respond. His stupid decision to fight the demon now at his feet, burried in a mound of rubble, instead of running to safety was a mistake. A mistake that would ultimately cost him his life. He took a look at the savages surrounding him and got into a fighting stance.
"Well, we had a good run Watcher... if... nevermind. Goodbye." He muttered to his ear piece as the saiyans grew closer. He could tell they were all at least his power or stronger... if only Kuro were there, but Tobias guessed that this was a fitting irony. He would die fighting, he decided.
That's when the sky grew dark and foreboding, a set of six immense cannons protruding from the heavans. His jaw dropped as he looked out of the huge holes in the lobby. Well, maybe he never had a decision to make in the first place. He could have attempted to run, but at that point he knew it was a fruitless endeavor, instead straightening up, and putting a hand to the key Kuro left with him. At least the wrath of the attack would spare no one, not even the enemy... but the thought of losing so many civilians made his hand tremble.
Tobias stared transfixed as a blinding light cascaded towards him and the rest of the city, this was the end. There was no feasible way to dodge the incoming devastation.
"I'm sorry..."
